I left my previous groomer of 9 years because Camp Bow Wow was highly recommended, but after today's experience I was so disappointed. I specifically requested a particular grooming service on their website and I know I did not elect any extras, but when I picked up my dog they charged me for extra services I never requested. What's worse is that Rose was so conflictive and focused on defending her ground than trying to make sure I at least left the facility a satisfied customer. She did not even offer a resolution to my valid complaint. She could've at least apologized or try to make things right, instead after I leave she follows up with a voicemail giving me more reasons in favor of her argument. So let me make it clear once again. I never requested extra services, much less did I sign a document authorizing it. This business is not transparent with their pricing.
I'm sure they have many satisfied customers, but unfortunately they missed the mark this time.
Notice in the response. Even the owner is so defensive and she wasn't even there to witness the situation. Unfortunately YES, this review warrants a 1 star.

My dog and I both love Camp Bow Wow! He can play with other dogs who are current on vaccinations and are size appropriate in a safe environment. The prices are very reasonable, too.

Hank loves it here! He gets to socialize with other bigger dogs (Hank is Mastiff/ Lab) and get some of his 1 year old energy out. He just goes a few half days a week, as I'm retired. Glad ya'll are in Rowlett!

We love Jade at the front and so does our Smokey. He has so much anxiety and Jade and the other workers made a point to help him transition to day care as a puppy. We will only ever go to Bow Wow.
And their prices are surprisingly affordable, especially if you purchase the packages.
