  Waste my time. Set an appointment for 145pm, arrive and wait in line to be told it will take 2 hours for a tire balance and rotation that's a 20minute service.... so why set the appointment? Why not notify someone before they come in? Poorly ran

  This is the worst tire shop in Rowlett. Long story short, I bought 4 tires and the wiper blades are on promotion so I got it. I paid for it all. They installed the tires but forgot the wiper blades. I waited in line to tell the manager about it. By the way the manager saw me their the day before. So now It finally became my turn, the manager was available. He tells me he's too busy and (takes the wipers throw them on the floor). I did not get my money back. All the good reviews are lies. Do your self a favor (Don't Shop their) These ppl are angry. I rate this place a - 1000 +

  Was helped by the Store Manager, Chris. I had a million questions and he was very patient with me. They didn’t have my exact tire, but he met me halfway and ended up with a better tire for a just a fraction more. He also went out of his way to help me with a rebate that didn’t automatically come off of the pricing when I paid. I asked after the transaction was already ran but he followed up with me promptly and amount was refunded. I left very satisfied with my service.

  The people are nice, the prices are good, the service is great. Come in with prepaid tires and an appointment and they'll have you done quickly.

  I bought 4 tires from this place about 6 months ago. I go in for a tire rotation which is supposed to be free. Chris Khude looks over my tires and says I need 2 new tires in the back already. He blames it on my driving but he doesn’t even know me. I work from home twice a week so don’t drive my car that often. So that makes me question the quality of the tires I purchased and if they were even new. Because Khude sees I’m not gonna purchase anything he puts me on his “pay no mind list”.. At the beginning he said it would take about an hour but 2 hours later they still haven’t taken my car back to do the rotation. These guys are just looking to fleece you in one way or another. They immediately go into their sales routine when they help you. They will find something wrong even if it’s their product that sucks

  Generally great experience at discount tire, but had a less than average this time. I brought my car in to have the two back tires replaced and they recommended a tire in my budget that they said had 6 in stock. After starting the tire replacement, they realized they really only had 1 of the tires in stock and needed to get another. I had to come back the next day and wait an hour and 15 mins for the second tire to be replaced after having already been there the day prior for a couple hrs.
  Typically great experience, one not so good experience
  Make sure you ask them to physically check their stock before wasting your time. Their staff is friendly, so I'd hope they'd be willing to help in this manner.

  I've been using Discount Tire since the early 80s and have always received exceptional service, but today at the Rowlett location it exceeded even that. Kelly (which I assume is a manager) greeted me by name as I approached the desk, and again exceeded my expectations in service.

  I went in on a rainy Saturday last weekend. David came out to greet me. He was extremely helpful for the moment we met. He suggested a couple of options. They had a new set of tires on in less than hour. Highly recommend this location! The entire staff is incredible! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

  Fantastic service! Needed new rims and tires. Went online to make my decisions, easily placed the order and the was glad to have communication through the whole process. Professional employees and fast service. Thanks for the job well done.
