If you go to this Massage Envy, ask for Jeremy. He is phenomenal and such a gentle soul. One of the best massages I have ever had, bar none.

I have a membership. Last year the service was good, but this year they've been constantly canceling my appointments for a massage the same day of the appointment. They apologize, but If you do the same you have to pay for a cancelation fee.

First time to a Massage Envy, first impression... clean facility, staff is cordial. They didn't push membership, actually didn't ask until I inquired. Once I expressed interest they discussed the current promo. Now to the massage review... they definitely give you more than 10 minutes to dress and undress. I completed the questionnaire with a firm/ very firm preference... it was not that. It was a light Swedish massage, lots of time focused on scalp, feet and hands... I was surpassed with the face being included... very different from my previous experiences. The use of massage oil was on the heavy side, lol I was slipping and sliding all day!I did sign up for the membership today and schedule a second massage for next month. I'm intrigued by some of the other services, the Total Body Stretch and Kinesiology Tape Enhancement.I'll update y'all updated as I get additional services.

I've had tons of massages. This was by far the worst experience I've had. My appointment was at 10am, and my massage didn't start until 10:20. It ended at 10:57. I paid for a 60 minute massage. Also, I didn't get the masseuse I had scheduled. I don't know if she was double booked or what, but I saw her there. The different masseuse didn't listen to what I said I wanted worked on. Worse massage experience I've had. I honestly cannot recommend this salon.

For months my shoulders have been killing me. I've had countless massages, and still, the pain continued to get worse. Unable to love life like normal. I went to Danny with no high expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable in massage. I feel so much better. He listened to my concerns and gave me stretches I could do at home. You can tell Danny really cares about his clients. Thank you Danny for taking your time & not giving a half great massage. I so appreciate you and will be back!

Had the most amazing experience at this location. My massage therapist Audris was great and the manager Rachel was so helpful. Strongly recommend this location.

Always very unprofessional when I call to gather information/request appointment. Where do they get these ignorant sounding people who speak so poorly? Today I finally got ahold of somebody to discuss the topic of insurance being accepted. I was told initially they do. The phone attendant proceeded to ask a many painful and very ignorant questions regarding my insurance... And at the end the truth came out that the prices are set regardless to any insurance. A bunch of irrelevance and waste of time.

Rebecca made my visitFrustrating and confusing and it cost me $130 for a 1 hr massage. Over the phone she knew that I wanted to transfer a credit over for a massage. Never said once we had to call the Home location to transfer and was very pushy onto book an appointment for today.Last minuteI found out that the transfer couldn’t happen. Of course that’s after the fact that I got my $130 massage. All she did was offer me a corporate discount but I had to join the monthly subscription! What a joke.I just don’t understand why Rebecca wanted to book the appointment ASAP when the transfer of credit didn’t go through yet.

Jeremy gave me the best massage I have ever had! I told him exactly where my knots were and he got rid of them, and also got rid of others that I didn't even know existed. He made me feel very comfortable and safe, I was not concerned one bit. With Jeremy, the massage is definitely worth the money!

Thank God for Massage Envy! I get one massage per month with my membership and member pricing on anything else. The best part is I can save my massages when I'm busy or out of town to use in the future. Sloan and Kris are my go-to for deep tissue! They are fab!!

What an experience. I have been going to this Massage Envy for the past year. It is actually out of the way but we enjoyed Jeremy and Abe's work so we drove to make it to Rowlett for our appointments. On 4/18 we came to have our massage at 11am for our 1 hour appointment. I realized at 1pm that I'd left my necklace hanging underneath the head rest of the table, (it was taken off mid massage) and asked if someone could go and look for it. The person that answered the phone ensured me that they could not go and check the room until 4pm and the manager Rachel was on duty, and would be there the rest of the night as my point of contact. I called back because it did not make sense that the room would be occupied by one person for 3 hours. No Rachel. She was apparently performing an interview. No necklace. Rachel never came to the phone. We drove back to Rowlett as this necklace is pricey but more importantly a personal gift. When my boyfriend and I arrived at 8:30pm, he and I separately went in to ask and the girl rolled her eyes at me, (I have 13 years in restaurants including Houstons, Nick and Sams, Pappas Bros. Al Biernat's and now a realtor) and the lady answering the phones and Amy (I grew up with Amy) mocked me as I left. It is unfortunate the lack of value that establishments have for their clients, as if this business and the employee's well-being was built for them when they walk through the door everyday. A business for them to disrespect the client and not see the pertinence of respecting personal items. I was in room 10. First room on the left when you walk through the right door of the lobby. It must be nice to have a revolving door of clients in such a wild market as we are in. I wasn't handed anything in this life and it has taught me to appreciate the ones that have built my business with me. I hope this note will encourage others to have a familial (yes like family) respect for those that put money in their pockets. We were treated as a transaction, and we will leave as a transaction. Best wishes.

Sorely disappointed with how this ME location chooses to conduct upselling. The commissioned representative marketed the membership to me as a month-to-month subscription that rewards you with a monthly free massage and subsequent discounts for massages during that month, but when I went to cancel my membership a few months later *suddenly* they were fine with letting me know what I had signed was a one year contract. So even though I no longer have a need for routine massages (my recent jobs have less stress placed on my back and shoulders) and even though I no longer cost this location a penny they still bill me monthly for the sole reason that they are able to do so. To make matters worse the manager I spoke with about the matter was incredibly smug (going so far as to say she was "sorry I didn't understand the membership before signing"), never updated me about the conversation she'd have with *her* boss (assuming she actually had one), and they continue to spam me with emails about promotions (despite no record of me coming in for *any* of their services for months now). The Google review I left was answered with a generic PR response and a link to a feedback form which was never followed up on. Nobody from this location or *any* ME reprehensive has reached out to me, and judging from the other negative reviews for this location regarding difficulties canceling/freezing memberships I'd imagine that other folks have had the same experience. In a perfect world the manager would have simply apologized for the confusion the commissioned representative caused, "tore up" the contract, offered a refund for the months where there services went entirely unused, and we could have parted ways on decent terms. Instead they realized they could use me as free and passive income, just as they have evidentially used two other people I am close with. In their mind they have me tied up by the contract and they don't mind a few negative reviews. All that I and others mislead by this location are able to do is leave reviews such as this in the hopes that other people choose the book with licensed freelance massage therapists who don't have a manager breathing down their neck pressuring them to reach sales goals. EDIT: Just as was the case with my Google review this Yelp review was met with an automatic response from the location requesting that I fill out a survey. And as with that Google review's response I have not received any sort of actual response following that survey's completion. At this point I've filed a complaint with the BBB, hopefully they can do something because getting scammed like this and continually billed is very annoying.

I'm still waiting on my refund for a gift card that was lost and I never used and they verified the purcahse in their system. I'm sure they would've made an exceptions for me if my race wasn't Black.

Was upsold on the membership which was marketed to me as monthly (monthly payment, free massage that month with subsequent massaged that month costing less , etc). When trying to exit my membership it was sprung on me that it was a yearly, unbreakable contract. So despite the fact I not longer will be using (or have need of their massages) they intend to collect on the remaining 10 months of my apparently "yearly" contract for the sole reason that they managed to convince me not to read the thing. Store manager called me after I complained, ultimately ending in her smugly telling me she'd speak to her boss and that she was "sorry I didn't understand the contract".Apparently this same song and dance happened to two other folks that I know. Reading this review it is also apparent this location has done this to other people a well over the years. Would highly advise avoiding this location, and probably national massage chains in general. There are licensed massage therapists who probably don't deceive people into contracts, as their reputation means the difference between paying their bills and going into debt. National chains simply don't care as much about the experience you get.EDIT: The response to my review seems to be automated as I didn't even receive acknowledgement for the form I filled out. No one has reached out to me and this location continues to bill me monthly. Every single automated response probably follows the same story and serves just to give readers the impression that the location cares about customer experience.
