Employees everywhere but not one lane open that isn't self checkout. I always wanted to work here

There's usually never anyone checking out, it's usually always those self checkout machines. But if there's a problem, it's hard to find an employee to fix it. It's so packed all the time. And even the order online and pick ups take forever.

So I think I'm gonna start driving to the Rockwall location from now on. For some reason, I expect different results every time I go in this store. This time the lady at the register was more interested in her smart watch and texting on her phone. She would literally stop ringing in my items to respond to a text messages. I don't think she looked up once. This was Friday evening 1/06 she was on the first register with the cigs.

Horrible store. Never anyone working the registers and half the self check out lanes are always down. They are clueless up here. This store needs better management and better training. I think we are all fed up about now.

I was here around 1 o'clock today, 2/22/20, when I lost $60 in the store. It had come out of my back pocket, probably when I pulled my phone out, stupid, I know, don't lecture me... lol, anyway... I called later just KNOWING they were going to tell me that no one turned it in... well, someone DID turn it in, one of their employees. I am just blown away by that. They could have easily pocketed it and didn't. It's just nice to know there are still trustworthy people in the world among all this bad we see. I wasn't told who turned it in, but if you see this, I want you to know how much I appreciate you, I have 3 kids to feed and I really couldn't afford to lose $60. You are seriously, THE BEST.

I live on the Rowlett side but will go the extra couple miles (now) across the bridge to the to the Rockwall neighborhood market. The Rowlett location feels like a super center because of all the congestion, NEVER any decent parking. Take the time and go across the bridge, a lot calmer, nicer, and peaceful at the Rockwall location. I won't ever go back to the Rowlett location again.

Terrible, the employees don't know the basics of how to redeem a gift card. Including the trash customer service mgrs "csm". Avoid the disgusting raspy brunette Customer service mgr with rotten teeth. You can't miss her. She tried to redeem my e gift card with another gift card. I'm not an employee and I even know that's not possible. Kerry, the walking dead assistant mgr is an old fart smart a*** Courtney Melton is the store manager that knows how to b******** Trash store, trash employees, trash service, trash company. Point, blank.

Produce department is almost always a wreck. Geez with all the customers looking for good veggies, I have never seen the department full and fresh, especially lately. Management named Kim looks lost..can tell she has no idea what to do. Sad

Sorry folks, I'm not a walmartian. I will happily pay more to shop at the lovely Tom Thumb across the street. But the Rowlett Neighborhood Market walmart is not as bad as most of them because it's clean and new. I only go there for items that Tom Thumb doesn't seem to stock (Rhodes frozen bread loaves, super washing soda) and I refuse to purchase anything else there if I can get it elsewhere. The worst thing about this particular spot, other than its general walmartness, is that employees do NOT get out of your way. They seem to have no problem about blocking the entrance in twos or threes while fiddling with the shopping carts, or darting right in front of you to grab a bag of ice when you're finally on your way out of walmartland.

So it's awesome when people remember customers and the customer service lady remembered me and asked how my 7 month old son was doing! I mainly go here for packaged or frozen foods and misc house items and needs. Walmart is not my first choice when it comes to produce. Some items work while others are just a set up for not ever being tasty or fresh at first pick.

Beautiful brand new gas station with clean, modern pumps and electronic display screens. Not dirty & dingy at all. Cheap gas also! Consistently about .06 - .08 cents cheaper than Rockwall's gas prices.
