Shay at the Tom Thumb is the best phlebotomist I’ve ever experienced. I hate needles and blood draws. But she makes it so I hardly feel it. Super kind too. Whenever I have to do a draw, I always try to come see her. She’s the best!

The Phlebotomist, Lacretia, was absolutely amazing!! She is highly skilled!! I have very small veins and she successfully got my vein on the first stick!! This is highly uncommon for me. She was absolutely phenomenal!! She was kind, listened to me, and was very skilled at her job!

The phlebotomist at the Quest located in the Rowlett Tom Thumb is phenomenal. She is beyond kind and compassionate with all of us that come in for labs. Please give her a huge raise or a new vehicle! She is greatness! 😇

I have always been nervous to do lab work and the tech, Shay, did not make me feel any better. I came in early to try and get my blood work over with because I had the time and was fasting since dinner around 6pm yesterday. I didn’t mind if they did not have the time, but checked in early around 12:30pm even though I had an appointment at 3pm. Shay came out and spoke to my mother very unkind and like she was not competent. She raised her voice and pretty much got on to us because we were walk-ins. We were trying to explain we came in early to see if she had time, and if she did not it’s no problem since we would be classified as walk-ins. I didn’t appreciate her attitude and now did not feel comfortable at all doing my blood work with her. Why advertise you guys take walk ins if your tech is going to get on to anyone who does? I read most the reviews and noticed this is not the first time she has got onto individuals doing walk-ins. Get your tech in check or take it off your website. Blood work is already nerve-wracking enough for most, so make sure your tech has the patience and kindness for every individual who walks through that door.
I went to ANY LAB TEST NOW in Rockwall and my tech’s name was Joann. She was super kind and caring throughout the whole process and it was very quick and painless. I definitely would recommend this place for those who get uneasy over this stuff and need to be as comfortable as possible!

Shay is the BEST phlebotomist in Rowlett, Texas. She truly cares for people and is such a Blessing to Quest Diagnostics. Please consider this review during her next performance evaluation.

The phlebotomist was gentle, kind, very professional. She remembers me and I would prefer all my providers use Quest because I can be a tough stick and her training and skill is excellent as she never has to stick me more than once. She is a rockstar!
