Stevensons Heating and Air conditioning always takes care of me especially in the heat of the summer and keep my older AC running with their preventative maintenance twice a year I highly recommend them to anyone!Services: HVAC system maintenance

Do NOT use this company, they have no integrity. they came to check the AC and said we needed over $800 of freon and we may have a leak. Paid them to put the dye in to find the leak, they came out three times to see if there was a leak and said there was no leak. Several months later, just turned on the AC and discovered its not working, called StevenSons and NOW they find the leak. Which WAS leaking several months ago but their tec did not find. NOW they want $8500 to fix it. If this company had ANY integrity they would fix what they were paid to do the first time, but no, they want $8500. Which other reputable companies will fix for $3500. So please don't call this company.

I would skip this place. My AC stopped working. My husband had used them previously, so I stuck with someone who might already know our system. The service fee was $129. He came. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a whole laundry list of things he thought was wrong with the system. He said he would check on the part that needs to be replaced and get back with me. I didn't feel right about any of the exchange. He just didn't feel like he was shooting straight with me. I called him and told him don't worry about ordering the part. I got a bill shortly thereafter. They charged me $129 for the service fee (all that was really done), then charged me another $115 for labor (there was no labor done at all). I think the $129 service fee is warranted as they came out and looked at the unit. I think the $115 labor fee is unwarranted since no labor was done. I emailed them back with that same reply. The response was..."I took a look at the invoice and compared it with GPS. The technician was there for over an hour which is the residential labor rate of 115.00 that was charged on your invoice. The Service Call of 129.00 gets my technician to you. Please keep in mind that It costs money to train these individuals, insure them and pay their salary. Maintenance, tires, gas and insurance on the vans are not cheap and the office people who schedule calls and find your parts don’t work for free either. Then when you cancelled the repair we also had to wait on hold to talk to the supply house to cancel the order we placed for the motor. Therefore, I do believe the charges are reasonable and accurate."I appreciate the courteous response but the parts were never ordered or cancelled. This service call was done last thing Friday night and then I called first thing Monday to cancel any further services and the gentleman told me then that they had not ordered the part cause it was on back-order (they had not backordered either). I know this is a slow season for HVAC in Texas but this is just trying to get money for work not done. I won't be using them again, and I recommend the same to others.Service: A/C system repair

They were responsive & professional. I called them in a panic and they first, calmed my fears and set to work fixing the issues I had that another AC company said was beyond repair. The were factual and didn’t sugar coat anything. Honest, courteous and reliable. I’ll never call another company!!Services: A/C system maintenance

Labor Day weekend with temps in the mid-90's was intended to be a nice holiday weekend for chores, relaxing with family, and enjoying the time from my job. But our A/C had other ideas! The copper tubing coil in the outside unit had many leaks that a charge of freon was not to be a suitable solution. So Stevensons to the rescue! David came out early Saturday morning, after our evening voice mail on Friday, and determined the problem and solution options were discussed. They would need to check their warehouse, but he thought they had a full compressor unit to replace our old one as just replacing the leaking coil was not as easy as you'd think. Our unit had outlived its time, and it was time to replace it. The money was of great concern, but Stevensons to the rescue yet again! On Tuesday morning, they arrived with the replacement unit, did the swap out and set up, and they were so gracious about their service calls and labor fees, that the financial part was not as scary or bank-breaking as we'd thought!! We've done business with Stevensons for years, and every time they rise to the occasion with quality service, timely visits, and great technicians like David who was so patient to explain all the problems and even appreciated my husbands' interest in the replacement and steps involved.Stevensons to the rescue----they will always be our first choice!!

They came in masked up and ready to work. So professional and polite. Solved the problem and fixed it in no time. So knowledgeable in their business. The price shocked me so less than I thought it would be for what they did. We would recommend them to everyone.

They did a wonderful job. I have StevenSons come and check my AC every spring and fall and have never been without heat or ac. They are super professional, timely and personable. They do a great job of explaining what's going on and what needs to be done to keep me up and running.

I called them to do an inspection on AC and heating prior to the sale of my home. They were on time and did an outstanding job.
