This location is absolutely terrible. Its dirty. There was always this loud beeping happening all over the store. The staff are questionable at best. I had a guy come up to me begging for money in the store. Seriously just drive down the road to Target.

I’ve had good experiences in this place for the most part. There door people are usually nice. I don’t shop here much, but when I need something fast I know Walmart is the first place to look. Funny you can buy tire, and eggs in the same building, but that why I’m show it some love, and leaving it a 4 star today. I think the only reason it’s not 5 is because they should do better in the parking lot.

Large Supercenter, they have a fairly standard layout, Grocery to the right, a large deli and Produce department, this is a very large store.I was visiting with my sister-in-law, making a fairly short stop. Their handicapped carts were available and plentiful which helped me significantly. Store was quite busy, and well-stocked, as we made our run through and got what we needed.Went through the self-checkout, bagged our goodies, and hit the road. Definitely enjoyed the visit!

Where should I start? I went to the store on yesterday to do some light shopping and I decided to go down the vacuum aisle and the items were priced at $.1 I immediately contacted management and stated I wanted to purchase a vacuum cleaner for the price displayed however they refused to honor it so therefore I requested to speak to the store manager however he was unavailable, I asked the supervisor at that time for the regional manager telephone number and was told that she did not have it! I then requested to speak to a member of the HR department specifically Tracy to get the requested information and she advised the supervisor that she was unavailable! The customer service at this store is substandard to say the least! No one has contacted from management at this time.

We moved to Rowlett from NJ 6 months ago. I went into the Walmart to shop for new eyeglasses and met Charlotte. She is an asset to your store. She is friendly, professional and a joy to deal with. I had to go back last week to have my eyeglasses adjusted and again she was outstanding. I hope there is a way to make sure she is recognized for her outstanding Customer Service. Have a great day.

Went in this Walmart tonight and got stopped to have my receipt checked. If you care so much about checking receipts how about you all quit being lazy and do the checking out yourself. Seems like that would solve the issue. You don't see Sammy from Kroger chasing someone out the door because all the people at grocery stores do the checking out and transaction themselves. OR at the very least when you do "check" the receipt at least look over it and match it up to every item in my cart all $500 of my items because you wanna take my receipt for 2.4 seconds look at it look at me and say "ok" what good did that do for anyone other than waste your time and mine. You want to actually make a difference quit being LAZY.

The only reason this is not a zero star rating is due to one is the lowest it allows. While taking care of my mother the last month and a half, I have bought all the groceries from the Rowlett store on Highway 66. That's where my mother asked me to go. I have made a lot of trips there during that time. My encounters with your employees has been, at the very least acceptable, if not pleasant. That is, until today. I had to run and pick up 6 items. Far less than a normal trip. I got the items and did self checkout. I was leaving through the East exit and noticed no attendant to check my receipt, so I headed for the doors. Just as I approached the door, I heard a ladies voice yelling. I couldn't understand what she said, so I stopped and noticed your employee heading my way. As she approached she said, where's your receipt (gruff voice)? I pulled it out of my wallet and handed it to her. She looked at it, then my cart, it, cart, it, cart. This went on for a while. That's when she said, I see the Big Red, but those Root Beers aren't on here (gruff voice, loud)! I am looking at the receipt and see the six items on it. I grabbed the receipt and showed her where it says beverage. Right below great value napkins and just above Big Red. This all leads to my issues. Is this the type of customer service that is expected? Should a client be approached this way? I don't mind someone checking my receipt, however, can they show a bit of tact? Shouldn't the employees tasked with this job require skills to at least count to 6? Read at, the very least, a third grade level? I'm not accustomed to basically, being called a criminal. This could be avoided by paying cashiers to do the job I am now forced to do for free, without training. All so the Waltons can line their pockets a bit more.

Giving 5 stars for the auto center techs, Blake and Arturo for saving the day!!! I came in with a dead battery and needed it replaced and they were both so helpful! Bc of Blake’s expertise and asking the right questions, I realized my original factory battery got swapped with another brand when I got my car repaired awhile back. I wouldn’t have realized until Blake brought some concerns which I’m grateful for. Thanks again! We need more techs like you!

I only write a review if the service or person is above and beyond what I think they are paid... I should give kudos to Clarence who greets everyone with a smile and hello.. He does his job well.. But this review is all about Mariana who worked yesterday late afternoon, early evening.. I was on the baking aisle looking for 2 spices... She offered her assistance.. In total shock because this has never happened at WalMart, and I mean NEVER... Walmart management should give her a raise, but should also give their employees a lesson on customer service.. Mariana could probably teach the course... If another store had the same prices, and convenient location near me, they would get my business.. But not until I told Mariana to go there.. She's that professional and courteous. Thank you Mariana..

Overall, the only problem is that they don't have the proper pricing when you get to the checkout. The issue is you have to report them to customer service. Which means waiting inline, and then someone has to walk to the back of the store and back.Their excuse is that they have no control over the system, and they didn't update their data due to the fact that Walmart initiated every items increased price changes. And they may not be able to fix this, IE. The shelf label verse the registere. So the CS overrides, you get refunded, and the next customer will likely have the same problem.I will try to stay away from them and use other options, but the other stores have limited selection.

The only reason I am giving this store 2 stars is for the floor manager and the store is kept very clean which is unusual for Walmart. I went to buy totes as we are moving. I picked up 13 of them and put them in my cart and headed to one of the only 2 cashiers. When it was my turn to ring up, I told the cashier I had 13 of all of the same style tote. She said ok and I rang one of them up. She stared at me, smacking her gum, and then finally said you only rang one up. I explained to her she has a multiplier button on her keyboard, and she just kept repeating herself, but you only rang up one. She repeated herself a good nine times and I told her I am not going to argue with you and she ran and got her ASM without me even asking for a manager. The floor manager was very kind and said that I was good to go because I had done nothing wrong and that her employee did not understand how to properly ring up multiple items. Please educate your staff on proper customer service and not to be rude to your customers.

Don’t do delivery. The personal shoppers don’t care about quality. They just run and grab. They sent me rotten chicken that had expired 5 days before and to get a refund, they wanted ME to return the rotten meat lol. 40 min on chat online and they finally “graciously” gave me a one time refund of 9.50. Lol. All other meats were a day or two away from expiring etc. Better off using Tom Thumb for meats, dairy, bread and produce because at least they try and grab the fresh stuff.

Rowlett store is very unfriendly. They won't stock store brands until the major brands are bought. This causes you to buy more expensive products. Plus one has to scan and bag your own groceries so where is the savings in that. At least a 5-10% savings would be nice.
