Great grocery store to get whatever items needed for the house. Anytime I get groceries either in person or with the pick up option, they always have what I need in stock. The store is always clean, well stocked, and the employees are always helpful and kind.

the flower department at tomthumb in Rowlett Tx has the most rude girl employee i ever met in my life Her name is Vall R She insisted on teaching me the right and wrong when i asked about a price of an item She kept telling me you are wrong you are wrong , even when i said that is not a way to talk to a customer, she answered thats the way i talk to my people when they are wrong. the customers are her people and she is the one who are appointed to tell us that we are wrong if we ask a question. Vall R , should not be in customer service because it requires a nice polite people to make our day not ruin it.

The pharmacist Richard is unprofessional and ignorant with updated federal laws which is concerning to say the least. After I pointed out they are not following federal laws and regulations, they expect surgeons offices just to do more work because they're uneducated. They don't understand partial fills, the argue with customers in person. I saw this last weekend with this same guy. He got extremely defensive and hung up on me after I gave them multiple chances to remedy their lack of knowledge. He needs to retire or be fired before you get sued for violating patient rights. Below is photo of the regulations they're choosing not to follow, or remedy. It's also embarrassing for him that a patient knows more than what he does with I'm assume decades of experience. I've sent this complaint directly to your director of pharmacy operations, Julie Spier so you should follow up with her to ensure this pharmacist and his supervisor are held accountable.

The store is clean and convenient to our home, but it is tiring buying items that are expired and having to do a return. 3 times in the last month. We even checked the item we returned last month and it is still on the shelf which expired in early October. Please check your inventory before purchasing or drive the extra miles to Krogers in Rockwall.

Clean and not crowded! This Tom Thumb has a Starbucks indoors as well. We were only here briefly for a couple of items, but it smells nice walking in, is clean throughout the aisles, and the staff is nice!

Convenient location with a good selection of wine, beer and ice cream! Reduced footprint relative to a typical Tom Thumb but good selection of fresh produce and necessities. Parking is a bit crazy due to the shared lot.

I moved to the area in September and to say I am disappointed with this store is an understatement. Expired items on the shelf, foods admittedly by the deli manager to be out of safe range on the adjacent coolers, spoiled foods 9n 4 separate occasions. Baggers don't care what they are putting together in a bag. This store could be so much better.

do not use the delivery service. it is 3rd party. also the pickers do not know where the products are located. not their fault. tea should be where the tea is and not the produce line.... horrible experience for me

Advertised for Valentine's Day the chocolate covered strawberries would be available 2/10 - went 3 different stores and they were not available - very frustrating - don't advertise it if you're not going to have it.

My go to grocery store. Go early mornings or mid afternoon. Evenings are usually really busy. Great food selection. Especially Chicken Mondays!!!

I have been coming to this Pharmacy for 3 years and had a great experience most of the time but I am now going to a different pharmacy due to Richard the Pharmacist. I don't know if he's having a tough time with this Pandemic or something else, however, he has come close to calling me a liar for the last time. I really like and appreciate everyone else there. I do not want to hurt the company or him but this needs to change. I have not been treated like that and will not continue to now. Adults don't treat each other this way.

News Flash!!! Tom Thumb now provides the checkout service equivalent of Walmart! Checker Maureen puts groceries in bags, lines them up on the counter and says, here you go. No thank you for shopping with us, just here, load up your own groceries in the cart. When I said she could put it in the cart for me, acted like it wasn't her job. Again, said here you go, no thank you for shopping with us, so I responded as she obviously expected, by thanking her. Why pay Tom Thumb prices, just go to Walmart from now on for all your staples and just pick up any thing extra you need at TT. That's my new strategy!

Really dig the deli department and bakery here. Lots of fresh pastries and freshly cooked dishes to titillate the senses. Parking is sufficient, and we have never needed anything we couldn't find here. They didn't get five stars though because the aisles tend to e crowded with merch making it hard to get through and they had some super questionable looking milk containers for sale in the dairy cases. Something above them must have exploded because they were all covered in a brown substance and all caved in like they had been dragged through the dirt. I'll go back today and get pics if they are still on the floor. Other than that I think they are a pretty good store.

I love the store but this review is really for the pickup part of it. I switched from ordering my groceries online and doing a pickup at Walmart to doing my pickup at Tom Thumb but Tom Thumb still has a long way to go for pickups. I had to call 3 times before someone would answer after I arrived at the pickup location. So either they are short staffed or do not have a dedicated pickup crew. Once I spoke with someone, it took a few minutes to get the order to my car. Walmart, however, has a GPS and they can see you coming. When you arrive, they already know you are there. They are already on their way. Tom Thumb only has two places to park for pickup. Walmart has a dedicated side of the building for pickups which is out of the way of the main entrances and has many places to park. Walmart does not allow tips. Everything is based on reviews. Tom Thumb doesn't, at least I haven't seen it, have reviews and tips are not expected but accepted. If you are new to Walmart pickup, they give you a gift bag to say welcome. Does not happen for Tom Thumb. I think Tom Thumb will hopefully get there but right now Walmart is winning in regards to pickups.
