Transmission Pan leaks had to tighten up, and still have issues with cluster lights,I got new one, but they were doing a Diagnostic and said it was the cluster and it is not! We got charged 2 Diagnostics and not fixed! Guess I was wrong thanking they could fix it!

If I could give them negative stars I would. I don't write reviews, ever, but If this saves 1 person from going through what we went through, it will be worth it. We brought our vehicle there with transmission issues. After us deciding that we would have them rebuild our transmission, they told us it would be 7-10 days. Weeks went by, no communication. They wouldn't answer any calls or texts. Not until we called from a different number did I finally get an answer. Then we started to show up at the shop. We were told EVERY single excuse you can ever hear. Everything from personal health issues, to cash flow issues, to worker issues, to weather issues. My favorite excuse was after 6 weeks when we were told it was repaired and they were going on a test drive, and then it was not working, I was told (by the manager John) that it doesn't help when I am pushing and rushing them to finish a job. So it was my fault. :) After 7 weeks and nothing but excuses we told them to not touch it anymore and we would tow it elsewhere.
The 2nd shop we took it to, had it repaired in 5 days. The cherry on top was when the 2nd shop mechanic told us that the transmission was a junk yard transmission, no way it was an original Toyota. (sadly, I can't prove that)
John blames the failure of communication on Jarod, the owner. I do no care and I will tell anyone to RUN from that place. Perhaps they are fine on small repairs, but for a transmission shop that supposedly does transmissions they are awful. Communication is non existent, and I will never ever ever go any where near that place again.
DO NOT EVER PAY THEM BEFORE A JOB. LESSON LEARNED.

I was headed East on I-30 ( traffic heavy and flowing at 70 mph) when my SUV started to swerve dangerously. I was able to move right and my first exit took me right into Bulldog ( Complete Auto Repairs). The owner was walking out but saw me and asked " what can I help with". Quickly he saw four broken and missing tire lug bolts and one almost broken off. " We are extremely busy right now. We can repair this but probably can't finish it today". Then the friendly East Texas emotion took over--"Where are you from? You are so fortunate that that tire didn't come off. Where are you going? Lets see what we can do". Then the manager came back from lunch--they "huddled up" and " let us back out a car and get you repaired and on your way". Talking and consoling and directing me to a air conditiond Tea House across the street and as three service people analyzed, began repairs, went to supply house and got parts, repaired, tested, and had it ready to go in about 3 hours. I can never say enough "thank you", praise the attitude and professionalism of the entire organization, and recommend them to everyone. Talk, communication, and understanding--Bulldog Transmission & Automotive in Royse City that kind of Professionalism.

My boyfriend went in to get work done, asked to be told if the car was worth saving before fixing, told them to check everything. Not one mention of the frame being completely bent.
Check engine light was supposed to be fixed, nope they placed tape over it and charged him anyways claiming it was fixed. Called and left messages multiple times and no one cared to respond back. Spent a ton of money and not one person called back to resolve this issue and now that he’s sold the car because he found out there was damages that Bulldogs didn’t report even tho they were asked to tell us all the repairs needed so we didn’t spend $ fixing it if it was just cheaper to sell, we are finding out they actually didn’t fix things that were paid for! Have photos, dealership witness and another mechanic shop as witness!!! And again they had been contacted over snd over and not once have they called back or responded.

Reliable, great communication and professional! I called just to inquire about a tune up since I figured I may need to drop my car off over night and needed to figure out how I was going manage to be out my only vehicle when I have 3 kids. He immediately offered to not only take me home after I dropped my car off, but was able to get everything done in one day and dropped my car off at my house when they were done! The best part was that I didn’t feel pushed or scammed to get anything done, which is a sweet relief as a woman. They had everything done in a timely manner and took the extra time to call me multiple times to keep me updated and explain every step to me. We’re moving soon but I’d pay the extra gas just to continue to give these guys my business! I can’t thank y’all enough!

I was just trying to get a quote for a transmission flush or transmission replacement and the nice guy was doing everything he could to help me out. I honestly forgot his name BUT overall I enjoyed his professionalism, time and care for the situation as I was. Even though the end result was my mom wanted me to bring it back home instead, he knew it wasn’t an offensive move and I thanked him for his kindness and professionalism. If I were to ever have issues with my transmission and I’m in the town of Royse City, I’d come here.

Took my 2012 Silverado to bulldog. Service was great. Owner is professional and pays attention to details. They take their time and do it right and they honestly went above and beyond my expectations. And without going into detail they really hit it home on a personal level as well. Good job, men. We will recognize Bulldog as our go the mechanic shop from this point on.

Okay, so here was my situation. My car had a P1078 on my Nissan, I had a big trip I needed to do and then my registration! So I finally got the time to hit up John from Bulldog Transportation and tell him all my problems. He gave me a rough estimate oh what it might have cost me and took the upmost care of my car! They dropped me off and took the time to evaluate EVERYTHING that my car was in need for. I did pay a bit more then I thought but it was all at a good price! There was no way I was getting the same deal and care at another automotive repair shop! Everything was under $1000!!! For my brakes being fixed and MORE! I highly recommend just having good communication and time with them because given that they will give you much more then just a fixed car. They made sure my car was cleaned a bit, that they got it inspected for me, they dropped it off at my house (I live fairly close though) and gave me updates whenever I asked!

Great guys and great experience. They went out of their way, above and beyond to solve mechanical issues on 2 of my vehicles. Prices were very fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Bulldog Automotive in Royse City.

They raised the price 400 dollars when my wife went to drop off the truck. 400 dollars for o2 sensors(we are providing the parts). They called me back and they are 100% standing by their original quote. Totally appreciate that and will recommend and use them in the future.Service: Exhaust

If you're from out of town keep going!FREE ESTIMATES BS!!! I had a broken leaf spring, and the FREE estimate turned into a $50 diagnostic charge that started at $140. What do you need to diagnose? They should have paid me for the diagnosis. We will get you on the road today, turned into, we open at 8 am and you'll be first in line. Evidently, the technician was told 10:30.The total bill for THE (1) Daily Driver leaf spring ( my truck has Heavy Duty springs) was $906.47!!!I had a matching set of HEAVY DUTY springs installed for $640.78 in my hometown. They were very polite and the work was performed well, just don't let them know that you're over a barrel!
