Customer for over 5 years have a residential account with them, they installed my underground tank and plumbed the gas to the house as we converted the whole house to propane. We chose this company because it was a small business and local.Generally, customer service is much better from a small business. I had 1 forklift propane cylinder I needed filled and did get there before there 9 fill hour. The interstate was backed up so I went over to 276 to bypass traffic so thought I would drop cylinder off and pick it up later as I was going there later anyway. They would not in any way let me leave my cylinder there and come and pick it up later. I have an account there with a card on file so there was no way that they would not get paid. I was floored. I was not asking them to fill it while I was there or drop what they were doing and fill it, just fill it at their convenience--not happening. Never seen such rigid stupidity in my life. They are about them selves so be ware. Major company Ferrell Gas was able to take care of my needs while I waited and told me the process for dropping it off and getting it filled, imagine that!

This company will over charge you then come to your house and question why you cancel the second charge on your account. Wait it gets better then they will call the local police and have them contact you about cancelling a double charge on your credit card. Then they will get butt hurt about you explaining to the police officer at your home why you don’t want to pay again and cancel your account and no longer service your home. Save a lot of time and grief and money and just go with any of the other gas companies that service your area.

I have been a customer for a few years and we have been below 30% full before the cold hit. Requested a refill monday and got no response. Requested another one yesterday. We ran out of propane last night and it has been 45 in our house since the They called me this morning saying no trucks were going to be in my area. We are on automatic fill up and they are supposed to dispatch a truck when we get to 30%. I would find someone else. A

I tried to set up propane services with this company. At the time, my tank was at 40%. I was told it might be a while before they can come out but to call if it goes to 20% and they could send someone out sooner. Well, that happened and when I called the first time, I was told someone from the service department would call me. No one called and I had to call them again.. only to be told they aren't accepting new accounts. Why all the run around?! I wasted time and propane thinking they would take care of me. Went to Pinnacle Propane and they had someone out for inspection the next day. Very disappointed to be led on that I would be taken care of.. should of just went with another company.

Not the greatest place to get a small tank filled. They only fill canister tanks 2 hours a day between 9-11am. Found that out when I showed up shortly past their opening time of 8. Came back after 9 to get my smaller 5 pound tank refilled and was told “We don’t fill that size, but we’ll fill it for the 20 pound tank price of $20.” So you want to up charge me for propane I’m not even getting? No thanks, I’ll go somewhere else. Went to Ferrell gas in Royse City and it was a whopping $2.68 to fill my tank. Won’t be back to Cadenhead.

It's unfortunate there are so few places to fill not-grill-size propane bottles in the Rockwall area. Cadenhead only fills between 9 and 11 am M-F during decent weather. Don't bother showing up early as they won't even start taking payments until 9am. They won't take drop offs either so don't bother asking! Take the morning off work just to get propane! Make the drive to Collins in Wylie! They always fill if they are open!
