The best service ever. Had an unexpected leak and David H. Came to trouble shoot. What an amazing gentleman. He took the time to thoroughly go through and identify what needed to be done. He was patient and kind. Reassuring and knowledgeable. I can not thank him enough for the time he spent trouble shooting to make sure we were safe.

It is not possible to speak to anyone that is able to resolve problems. Their attitude is not customer oriented. Would not recommend the company to anyone I know.

Where to start? I live less than a mile from the store in Royse City. Make a right turn at the first road and I am right up the hill.
Placed an order on Tuesday. Call Wednesday to verify my order and determine when it would be delivered. Call Center says she will check with the scheduler and call me back. I offer to pay an extra delivery fee to get a fill before the weekend. She says no need to go that far yet. Let her check with scheduling and she will call me back. She never returned the call.
Thursday. Call again. This time, the online portal shows that my order is out for delivery. I confirmed this with the call center. Great! Truck was a no show. The online portal removed my "out for delivery" status at the end of the day.
Friday. Call again. Call Center explains that "the driver ran out of time." It was raining Thursday, so no problem. I asked if my order will come some time that morning. Call Center says that she will call the scheduling office and find out where my order is. She will call me back. Yep. No call back.
Call again a few hours later. Same routine. Call Center says she will call scheduling. She will call me back. I asked if she really would call me back since the pattern does not show this. She assured me she would, and actually did!! Hooray! Progress!....except, my order that was supposed to be delivered the day before when the "driver ran out of time," was now not coming until the next week!!! She said there was nothing she could do about it.
At this point, I drove down the road to talk to someone in the office. I arrive at 12:45 in the afternoon. The doors are locked. No sign stating they were out for lunch. In fact, no sign with their business hours at all!! So...I call the Call Center AGAIN. This time, I am sitting in front of the store. I am the only car there. And I am talking to a Call Center rep because the store is unmanned in the middle of the business day. Same routine. She will call scheduling. Will call me back.
She calls me about a half hour later!! Winner! She tells me that she got a delivery for me that afternoon! She even mentioned the driver by name! I asked about an extra delivery fee. She says no. The delivery was supposed to be the day before, and since I live right down the road, they will take care of me before the end of the day.
Well. I guess the driver "ran out of time" again. I am going through the weekend now without hot water. We will cook on the grill outside. Hopefully, we get our fill some time next week...at least that is the story I was given at one point.
What is infuriating is that through all of these calls, I offered to pay an expedited fee if I could get a delivery before the weekend. And through all of the failed promises and no shows. I was told that "it wasn't necessary. Ferrellgas would take care of me."
At least I saved an extra fee for these no shows. :(

We could not read out dial on our tank but was thinking we needed a refill. Service tech came out showed us we were looking at the wrong dial, we had like 65% . He topped our tank off since he was there. Great service, awesome company

You call in ask a questions then they put you on indefinite hold. Ask to speak to a manager and you're told they'll call you right back with no return calls. Every year my bill is wrong. Good thing I only have to take this beating once a year.Delivery guys are absolutely awesome.

Engaging Ferrell for propane was a very quick & easy process. It’s nice to be able to easily request refills & see the tank percentages from your account.

PLEASE DONT WASTE your time with this company. Terrible service is an understatement. They’ll tell you one thing and do another. 8am call we can deliver. Called 5 times during the day being told we’re on delivery today. Even went to their Royse City store. No one there. We were told there delivering till it gets dark. Don’t be fooled by a slick corporate web site. Local service and delivery is, we’ll get to you when we won’t and won’t be rushed. But we’re taking the weekend off despite no hot water or cooking. We might get to you on Monday. Propane users beware.

Fraudulent company - FerrellGas took $119.24 from me and delivered nothing. Day 1: I paid for a new propane install site inspection. Was told two weeks to completion of full propane install and phone call from inspector same day to co-ordinate visit. Day 2: No phone call arrived. Called back FerrellGas to be told inspection request was completed incorrectly and that I would receive a call from site inspector same day. Day 3: No phone call arrived. Called back FerellGas and was told my inspection was mishandled again. I was now in a two week wait queue just to get an inspection. I requested a refund. Was told refunds take 6-8 weeks to process the refund. I asked the speak with the manager. was told I would get a call back from the manager. No phone call received.My advice is stay away from FerrellGas at all costs.

Check around on prices and service for our home and chose Ferrell Gas. I have always have had a good experience with them. My home service is great and so is when I need bottles filled up. Staff at office, drivers, and installation crew are very friendly and professional. Highly Recommend!

I have only needed to refill 20lb propane bottles but it has been easy each time. They are quick and the staff is friendly.

I placed an order for propane on 02/13/21 before the snow storm. I was provided a delivery date of 02/19/21. I stopped by the office on 02/18/21 to find out the status and the lady said that it had not been scheduled yet but hopefully soon. On 02/27/21 I called and left a message for a status, no response. On 03/02/21 I called and was told that "If nothing else happens we should have it to you on 03/06/21, we had to reschedule 5,000 deliveries" She did not ask if I was out of propane, if my heater worked, if I could cook food. I drive past the Ferrellgas office on my way to work every day. At 7:40 am, the 3 delivery trucks are in the yard. When I come home from work, the trucks are in the yard, so it does not appear they are working very hard at catching up. What I assume is happening is that the price of propane went up, and since I locked in at pre storm prices they are not interested in delivering my propane and are instead delivering propane to those that ordered later and paid more per gallon than I did. Otherwise, if they were delivering in the order that orders were placed, they would need to have been 2 weeks behind before the storm since I am receiving my delivery 2 weeks after the storm.
