The staff was nice but initially hard to reach for questions. Once my household items were moved in. All three of my units received large price hikes. In my opinion, they know you are likely not going to remove your belongings so they price hike to levels they want to. Moving out was a hassle because one of two elevators were not working costing us more hourly pay to the moving company. I had units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The elevators would not go from the 2nd to 3rd floors. You have to go all the way back to the 1st floor, and punch in the code again in order to go to the 3rd floor. Why not have the code reader inside the elevator!

Under no circumstances should you rent from CubeSmart in Sachse, TX. This place is a bait and switch. I have rented here for over two years on multiple units. They raised the rent on all units. One unit they raised four times to almost double the price. They wouldn’t adjust so I moved to a different unit under my partner's name. Their special rate lasted 5 months until they started raising the rates again, 25% from $61 to $75. It’s a scam. You can’t pay in advance, they won't allow you to lock in a rate. It is month to month so they can raise rates as they please. They will entice you in with a lower rate, and once you are moved in and it’s harder to change then they will continue to raise the rates on you.

the numbering system seems to be laid out by a drud addic. Only one elevator for the whole storage unit, so if you have one on the back side lots of walking with two wheeler or flat car through very narrow halls. Security is excellent.

The check-in process was a breeze, and I was able to compare storage units to make sure I had what I needed. They offer carts to make moving in fast and large elevators for the upstairs units. With cameras all around and code access needed for the doors and elevators, you can be sure your belongings are safe. Everyone who works here has been extremely helpful. It's also conveniently located across from a Wal-Mart, in case there's anything you need that the office doesn't sell.

Only negative is they ran out of carts to take things into the units. Waited 35 minutes for one. Seems like people moving were locking them in their units while they got their next load. So recommend adding more carts. Lyn was very nice and helpful.

I ordered a 10x5 unit online and showed up to find that they had given me 2 5x5 units instead. There was no mention of this possibility and every indication that the unit would be a single 10x5 unit. False advertising at its worst. The only redeeming quality to this place was the nice woman working the front desk who did her best to help me out.
If you are going to book online I would call to make sure you are going to actually get what the website says you will.
