“I’ve been coming here almost weekly for a year now. The staff are very friendly, the selection is great (they even have some great high end stuff), and going in and out of the store is a breeze without excessive trash or people hustling like some other stores. They are always bumping some great music and if you ever needed anything all you’d have to do is ask. There are closer stores to my house, but I choose to go out of the way to shop here.”
“Great spot to grab a beer or a glass of wine. They also are a small bottle shop with a good selection of craft beers. Really nice intimate seating area with comfy vintage couches and chairs.”

“I was at the door at 9:59 is more waiting to storm get my product and when I was I was greeted by Blanca and she sold me when I was looking for I came back to my house to try my product out it was a defective when I opened it I returned it 30 minutes later Blanca and her other associate Taylor were more than helpful to help me get a different product that was not defective and I was able to leave highly satisfied and that's why I'm going to be coming back to liquor King.”

“This is by far the VERY BEST HAMBURGERS AND FRENCH FRIES I HAVE EVER EATEN. I would go so far as to say they even BEAT KINCAID'S ( This is NOT a slight to KINCAID'S they still make a totally awesome burger that I highly recommend) over off of Camp Bowie and that's saying a whole lot. The guy who runs the place is the only fly in the ointment. He is rude and short with just about everyone who I've seen come in to the store. A little customer service goes along way on my book. But the burgers are even WORTH THE RUDE TREATMENT.!!!! YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS PLACE, bad neighborhood and all.”

“I love this store. They have a huge selection of liquors from around the world. I think the name is misleading. It’s not really discounted. It’s more like premium. Also it’s very nice and clean inside. Wide aisles, well lit. The people working there are super nice. They also give me cardboard for solarizing my garden and even help me carry it to my car.”
