About Artillery Museum
Based on the reviews, the Artillery Museum is an amazing place to check out for anyone who likes anything ordnance or really military related. The museum houses a large collection of artillery in a small little town, with an unbelievable store featuring a large selection of inert ordnance items at fair prices. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, great to chat with and learn about the collection. Visitors describe the experience as awesome, well worth the drive, and flat-out great. The static displays out on the main highway are also worth stopping for photos. The museum is located on the Square in Saint Jo, Texas, a beautiful town with great local restaurants and shops. It is open Friday and Saturday from 10-5, and Sunday from 1-5.

More displays than I expected, staff was very friendly and informative. With equipment from over a dozen nations we get a pretty good idea of how the Cold War could have ended

Extensive collection curated and maintained by volunteers who really care about what they do. Worth stopping by or driving in for a change of pace.
