I needed new wheels for my Weber grill and another set of wheels for a portable cabinet. Being both female and a senior citizen I had no idea what to look for so I went where I knew I could get help, that being Keith Ace Hardware in Salado. Sure enough I was greeted as I walked in, was directed to the correct aisle and almost as soon as I got to that aisle a second associate came to help me find what I needed. He took the broken wheels I had brought with me and quickly found exactly what would fit my grill and the cabinet!

Fantastic Service and Quick In-and-Out Experience
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an employee ready to help. I told them what I was looking for— a water hose, a door knob, and some mulch — and Mike immediately stepped in to assist.
He guided me to the door knobs, clearly explaining the differences between interior vs. exterior options, name brands vs. budget options, and even highlighted the installation difficulty. What sold me was his explanation between “easily install” and “very easily install” — I went with the latter!
The mulch was a great deal at just $3.99 per bag. After purchasing, Mike even loaded it into my trunk for me — a convenient service Ace offers. All I had to do was drive through the designated loading area outside, and I was good to go.
Overall, it was a fast, efficient trip with top-notch customer service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get in and out quickly with exactly what they need.

When I lived in Salado Ketih, ACE Hardware was my. Go-to place. Prices may be higher than those of other larger hardware stores. You can't beat the location and the helpful and friendly people you will not find at larger hardware stores!!

Keith's Ace has been my go-to hardware store for many years. They keep the shelves stocked and carry a lot of specialty items. We routinely have our pool water tested here where the staff are always courteous and helpful. Good folks.

Great people! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and just all around happy people. I was there to pick-up of a order purchased over the Internet. My order was there ready to go out the door. Staff helped me carry large heavy item to my pick-up truck. Check it out.

My family and I stopped to use the restroom after purchasing gas. Went inside to use restrooms and they denied us. Place not even closed. Do not go to this location. Crap!! 11/27/24 5:30pm
