Salado General Store was formed in October of 2022 to bring a nostalgic shopping experience to the small village of Salado. Offering bulk candy & gourmet chocolates, 20 flavors of Texas famous Blue Bell Ice Cream, and a unique collection of gift items & toys for all ages, the store also features The Prickly Barrel Boutique, a western-inspired clothing and accessories shop. Conveniently located on Main Street, the Salado General Store is a one-stop-shop with something for everyone, featuring excellent customer service, a vibrant atmosphere, and a variety of products. Visitors can enjoy the store's outdoor space, located next to the local brewery on the creek, and shop until 8 pm. The Salado General Store is a must-visit destination for a delightful and charming experience in the heart of Salado.

Very cute place! They have blue bell ice cream to order on sugar and waffle cones, including special flavors like crazy cookie dough! Also sell old style candy and chocolates, as well as little knick knacks. Cute place to check out!
