Of course, having the right products and service is important. But like all good business, it’s all about the people.My first experience with The Wood Group of Fairway in 2008 was with Matt, he set the bar pretty high. The second time I used them it was Lorraine that helped us. Somehow, she managed to raise the bar even higher. I have used Fairway several times. The people at Fairway are the same people, as neighbors, we see at the grocery store and events around town. These are professional, real people that will know you and treat you on a first-person basis. Although I am sure they have other staff to help, I always felt l received personal attention and service. For the most recent transaction, I never spoke to anyone at Fairway other than Lorraine. I am sure there were other people working on it but she communicated directly to me all along the way.I have used Fairway for purchasing a new construction home, refinancing, purchase of an existing home and a Texas Home Equity cash-out refinance.The Texas Home Equity Cash out refinance has some strings attached to it and there were some unusual things about my property. It was never a question about whether they could handle the issues or do what I wanted to get done. It was just a matter of fact that they would figure it out, which they did without hesitation.Although this was a cash out refinance, it took only 42 days from the day I submitted the application to close. There were full disclosures all along the way with zero surprises. One of the things that I really liked about the process was their online application portal. It was easy to submit the application and upload documents.I felt like that their interaction with other companies involved such as the Real Estate Appraiser, Title Company and even our Property Insurance Agent brought everyone together for very smooth close.I absolutely recommend Fairway for your home lending needs.
