We don’t live too far from the bed & breakfast, but I chose it, partially, because of its location between Georgetown/Round Rock area as well as the Temple/Harker Heights area. A bonus is that it’s seclusion in the country, just a few minutes from I-35. I initially chose one cottage but because of a faulty a/c unit we stayed in the other cottage. Both cottages are identical, minus aesthetics. The change was no issue. We enjoyed the welcoming, complimentary oatmeal raisin cookies as well as one delicious breakfast meal. During our stay there were two complications for which the owners were not responsible, but they successfully assisted and were kind and considerate throughout. The other amenities all were good and there was nothing to complain about. We definitely recommend anyone to stay on the property and will likely stay there again!

My partner and I came here for the 2024 eclipse and stayed for two nights. Everything about this place far exceded expectations. We stayed in the main house in the Wildflower Room, which is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, as I’m sure all of the accommodations are. Great hot water and water pressure. Home baked cookies were always available, along with cold beverages in the fridge and a Keurig coffee area well-stocked with coffee and tea. Breakfast both days was amazing and since we were hanging around the property for the eclipse, Sara provided us with delicious chicken salad sandwiches for lunch. Every detail was lovingly attended to; cannot recommend this B and B enough, and I can’t believe an event here would be anything less than stellar as well!

Loved everything about them. I called last minute and everything came together beautifully. Very clean and quiet. Wishing them the best!Food & drinks: The breakfast was a delicious casserole with scratch biscuits & fresh berries. Drinks such as soda, water& coffee, juice, tea at your disposal. Fresh baked cookies too!

Our stay at the The Yellow House B & B was lovely. Sara was attentive and you could see the hospitable attention to detail everywhere from coffee, hot chocolate, water, sodas and cookies round the clock. There were extra plug ins for charging. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. I saved the best for last. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious and she made a vegetarian dish for my cousin during our stay! Look no further, you found your place!!! Thank you Sara for a lovely stay.

I hosted my oldest daughter’s bridal shower at the yellow house, bed and breakfast, and we really enjoyed our weekend. The blue house enabled us to have all of our guests seated comfortably in the living room, and we had plenty of room for our food and beverages in the full kitchen, as well as ample lodging for our family. It was so nice to be able to spend the whole weekend with our out of town guests. The included breakfast was delicious. The houses, cottages and rooms were quaint and very well climate controlled, which mattered a lot in late July. ;) We had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend yellow house bed-and-breakfast. We will definitely be back. The little village of Salado is one of our favorite places to visit, and it is close to larger amenities while still feeling very secluded and private. 10/10

I don't even know where to begin! From the start to finish of our event hosted in the Red Barn, Sara (owner and manager) was hands on and super communicative with me. She provided such DELICIOUS food for our shower, constantly asked what she could do for us and built a gorgeous location for our intimate party. All of the out of towners AND locals asked about The Yellow House for their own events! I highly recommend you host your next party here, whether it's a shower, wedding, anniversary party...this place has the perfect set up. Bathrooms, kitchen and grounds were spotless and Sara customized every aspect of the event. 10 out of 10!!!!! Thank you Sara and team!

Sarah and Jay went out of their way to make the whole experience wonderful. The rooms are so cozy and welcoming. They cooked an amazing plant based breakfast for us accommodating our needs. My kids said they were the best taco’s they had ever had. The fruits were delicious and perfectly cut. Every little action had so much love in it! We highly recommend spending some quality time here.

We had our wedding here in June and everything was perfect!! Their wedding packages are unbeatable- and their Barn is absolutely stunning!! The owners are so kind and thoughtful with what they did with the place. There are many spots around the venue that work perfectly for a ceremony and plenty of parking for up to 75 people. My sister and I stayed the night before and woke up to an amazing home cooked breakfast as well. I could not have asked for a better day!

I rented the Yellow House property for my wedding weekend so that the family and the wedding party could be co-located and have a relaxing weekend. The experience at the Yellow House convinced all of my family and the wedding party staying in the cottages and houses to look for bed and breakfasts over hotels and Air bnbs in the future. Everyone loved how comfortable their stay was.To start, the check in and check out process was headache free, easy and Sara was easy to communicate and work with. This is a great location as a quiet get away and/or as a venue for a special occasion.At the Yellow House, the experience was phenomenal and the care that Sara provided was evident in the attention to details. The beds were clean and comfortable. There were so many chairs to lounge in within the rooms, patios, and under the cooling shades of the trees. The fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks and delicious, freshly baked cookies were delivered daily. Make-up specific towels and ample make-up removal towel wipes were provided. Provided soaps/shampoos/etc were wonderful and there was also dish soap and provided new scrub to use for dishes. The decor and charm of each room showed character that impressed the youngest and oldest of the guests, especially our social media loving teens. All were so impressed with the fresh cooked breakfast. It was so delicious! Our favorite was the Yellow House Breakfast Pie.... I broke my diet with that dish. There was an abundance of food delivered and everything made us want seconds. There was still food left over even after our second helping. I'd stay again just to enjoy the yummy breakfast.I would absolutely stay at the Yellow House again and I appreciate everything Sara and her staff did for my family and friends during our stay. Thank you to the Yellow House B&B for making my wedding and our experience a wonderful and positive memory.

I stayed in green cottage and it was very clean ! It was very quiet, middle of the week stay made it private. I would stay here or plan any gathering here.Noteworthy details: Owners thought of everything for kitchens and I will return.

Excellent spacious accommodations. Cool and comfortable. Stayed in the blue house. Our group was small but would be excellent for multiple families. Large modern bathrooms with large showers. Enjoyed having a full kitchen and delicious breakfast each morning.Close to enjoy a day shopping on Main Street in Salado.Would highly recommend this bnb to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in the Salado area.Rooms: Large comfortable bedrooms. Soft but firm beds.Nearby activities: Shopping and dining in Salado a few minutes away is a great experience.
