Best place to stay hands down. The room is beautiful and smells good. I'm in a new hotel all the time because of my job. Hands Down Candlewood is the GOAT!! Check it out for yourselves you won't be disappointed.

The rooms are great, but no free breakfast kills it for me. I'll have to avoid in the future.

II HAVE BEEN DUSTURBED 4 TIMES THIS MORNING WITH THE FRONT DESK ASKING ME QUESTIONS ON MY STAY.I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND THIS LADY HAS JUST MADE MY DAY.HORRIBLE TERRIBLE NEVER EVER WILL I COME HERE AGAIN . MORNING FRONT DESK MANAGER BANGING ON MY DOOR QUESTIONING MY STAY AS IF I WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE here. As an IHG member I thought that it would be great being a customer since I will be doing a lot of traveling, but NO . TOTALLY DISRESPECTED being woken up only to be asked personal questions to the point of literally being screamed at!!!! I am humiliated as a person, guest!!!! To be treated as less then,or bullied by a man or a Lady whom ever that was ,I am not be bullied...I am the wrong one to do that too!! I pray no one else would go through a horrific stay such as this at the Candlewood suites San Angelo TxRooms: Nice rooms..but not customer servicesQ

I stayed here for 80 something days. The room comes with pots and pans and a stovetop, a full fridge and dishes and cups. The customer service is excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful. Also give military discount and allow pups. A++

About what we expected dog friendly and nice kitchen. Facilities are clean and comfortable for the price. Will probably be back if in the area. San Angelo is a nice town on travel from Albuquerque to Houston.

We loved the room and the location was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. If I could rate the staff higher I would. Everyone of the staff was friendly and we liked them all, especially Patrick! He is amazing and goes above and beyond for the guests. He makes sure every guest is happy and comfortable.Rooms: The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds as well. We love the kitchen area in these hotels.

We were traveling in our RV with our 2 dogs and got stranded in San Angelo. After calling and speaking with Patrick he assured us they had a room for us and were so very welcoming. The rooms were very very clean affordable and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. This is not a luxury hotel but Very practical and comfortable for what we needed last minute. The staff was very kind and friendly even to our pups. ❤️

I travel for work during the week, and sometimes need a room last minute. I used to stay at the Holiday Inn on the same road as this hotel. I’ve found the rooms at Candlewood Suites to be better furnished & significantly more accommodating. The rooms have a kitchenette with dinnerware/silverware, a full-size fridge, and kitchen sink — which is extremely convenient for making a quick meal for lunch/dinner instead of ordering takeout. Shauna and Mary are always friendly & helpful when I stay here. I’ll continue coming to Candlewood when I’m in the San Angelo area.

This is a truly solid hotel. The staff are super nice, especially Vicki, the front desk supervisor. Which is what makes it 4 stars. They are very helpful and friendly. It's an older building, and it shows. The rooms look tired and very dark. The shades are wearing out on the windows. I turn all lights on with the windows open to make it bright enough. The heating/ac is controlled with a dial and not a thermostat that gives the temperature, so I find it hard to get to a temp that I like consistently. But the heater works well, so does the AC when I overshoot and get too hot. So, things can definitely be upgraded.I'm hoping the next time I come in for work the pancake maker is working. It only worked 1 day in times I was there when I was able to eat breakfast over 2 2 week stays (I only eat on the weekends and not on weekdays). I love Holiday Inn pancakes, and I'm not a huge pancake fan. Is this a deal breaker? No, but it is disappointing. The laundry is reasonably priced washer and dryer. The hotel location is convenient right off the freeway.I think Holiday Inn (in general) needs to get better sofas, theirs are so uncomfortably hard. I though it was the only the one in Wisconsin, but this one has the exact same sofas.I really like the bed.I stay here pretty regularly for work, and I'll continue staying here because the staff are so nice. They have a fridge and microwave which is what I need.
