Goodfellow AFB Commissary is very small but offers great prices when items are in stock. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The commissary is clean, neat and well kept. Prices are lower than off base at Wal‑mart or HEB. Customers should check expiration dates on everything before buying. Produce is not recommended, as it does not last long and can be higher priced. Some unique items are only found here.
The produce section leaves a lot to be desired. Produce at Walmart and, in particular, H.E.B. is much fresher.

We usually find good deals here. Sometimes, its a struggle to get good produce but its not always their fault. Employees are always great & helpful. They're like family too.

It’s very nice but it closes pretty early, my only complaint
