This store has a unique layout that no other store has. The manager is very nice and driven and really puts a lot into making this store better. They have a good amount of clearance items that are organized and they generally always have products in stock. Theu don't have the $1 cokes which is strange but other than,that this place is worth getting your groceries from.

They only had one person working the register. I've never seen that at any location in San Angelo. I ordered ice but it needed to be opened with a key after I had already checked out and she couldn't attend to me because there was a long line behind me. Poor thing needed help! Where is the management???

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION THEY DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO IT. Ordered 2 small items today on dg pickup to grab after work after not hearing anything back during the first half of the pickup time I went to the store to see one employee who tried to say they didn't have an order, then after a few minutes confirmed I had one, left to grab my items and took so long finding the TWO ITEMS and helping other customers that dollar general canceled my order. This is on top of this store being disgusting, with food trash randomly strewn throughout the store, and the employees (except 1 guy) always act like customers are the biggest inconvenience. If you can, go to one of the other 2 stores in this area, you'll have a better experience.

The prices need to be updated the clover water said it was $4.50. When checking out it $5.75. They know long stock the other water brands. This store is dirty.No one acknowledge this when we came in the store or when checking out.

I’m giving this place two stars and it’s not at all because of the employees. The employees are awesome. My problem is with the card reader. Why won’t the company replace it? It goes down every week causing us to drive to another store. It’s costing them a lot of money… I don’t understand. Everyone would benefit from it… please fix it!
