Jill Taylor and her team "ROCKS'. My husband and I just got through closing on a house today and it wouldn't have been possible if not for Jill and her team. Gateway was awesome. As a first time home buyer I literally just submitted the documents they needed and they did the rest. Buying my home with gateway was easier then buying my first vehicle. No problems at all, the whole staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend anyone to Gateway mortgage.

I have to admit, I was skeptical and had never even heard of Gateway Mortgage before buying our house, and I shopped multiple mortgage lenders but Gateway came in ahead and delivered above and beyond, great competitive rate (and we only had 'fair' credit) and good communication. They made closing easy and went above and beyond. Would recommend to others.

Wish I would have read the reviews before doing my application! The absolute worst experience I have gone though, from Start to End. Ran everyone credit stated that we were approved, went to making an offer and the whole process and waited until near closing to say that they could not do it. Could never get a straight answer from Jean, she stated that she called and never did and only sent a text that they could not do it, she could not even call to say they could not it. Never again!!!!

If I could give this place 1 star I would. Do not go to this place unless you want them to run your whole family’s credit for no reason!! Jean is horrible she said we were approved for a loan after running our credit then for no reason changed her mind and said no that we were no longer approved. She waisted our time and made us send her all kind of documents for nothing. I have all the proof on my emails. Just stay away & BEWARE!!!!

Terrible experience and had to change mortgage providers 2 weeks before closing. I only dealt with 1 person at Gateway so perhaps the others are better. Won’t recommend them to anyone.

Last year we had a horrific experience with another lender in trying to get approved for a home. It wasn't that we were not qualified, it's that the lender was chaotic and disorganized. It was so bad, I really didn't want to try again to purchase a home. Then we heard about Gateway Mortgage. I was skeptical, but we still did want to set up permanent roots in our new city, so we decided it couldn't hurt to try them. What a difference. All I can say is wow. We worked with Bory Cain and Chris Webb. The process was so simple and smooth. They obviously know what they are doing, and it showed throughout the loan process. They were very involved in effectively communicating what they needed from us, and they kept us informed of our progress throughout the loan process. We never wondered what was going on, and if we had any questions, I could depend on a response from Bory within 15 minutes! Wow again! We felt completely at ease from beginning to finish, and we closed right on time with no issues. Thank you to Bory and Chris for making the buying of our home a pleasure instead of a chore. I will be recommending them to anyone I know looking to buy a home, and when the time comes that we are ready to refinance our home, they will be the only call I make, no doubt.
