Hurry up and wait. As always, one person at the optical center. I've been standing at the register since 5:25. She's with a customer. The other customers and I have watched her mess with her hair and up it in a ponytail. Will I ever get to order the contacts and leave? Unfortunately, this department and the painfully inefficient tire department are about the only things that are not self-service here. The time is now 5:50 . . .still waiting.

Pay attention to the dates listed on the other yelp reviews, most are over a year old. From November 2021: 1. Customer service is always good. 2. Popular items are sometimes out of stock. Presumably due to shipping issues or "covid" issues from suppliers. 3. The line to exit the store is sometimes backed up exceptionally far before they get an extra person to help out. 4. The GAS STATION! The WORST. There are arrows on the ground indicated a flow of travel but apparently it's too difficult to understand for most people in this town and the gas station attendant will never fix it. This causes to people getting blocked in, several near accidents, it's just a mess. I wish Sams would be more proactive about this! Overall, a clean and fairly quiet store that I enjoy shopping at. If they fixed some of the small issues, I would give 5 stars. It's just a little frustrating to wait 10 mins to exit the store after I have already purchased my goods.

I have been a devout Sam’s Club member for over a decade. I often have driven out of my way to get gas there because that has just been my gas station. They have recently added cones to the fuel station attempting to force everyone to go the same way which has resulted in ridiculously long wait times to get gas. My membership expires in July and I likely won’t be renewing it if this practice continues. In the meantime HEB will be my new gas station. No other station has issues or the need to control the direction of traffic. This is an incredibly poor decision by management. I have heard from plenty of diesel customers that this has pretty much eliminated Sams as a place for fuel for them. They said it was already hard enough to get to one of the 4 pumps that had diesel, now they are almost always blocked by people getting gas.

I went to Sam's in desperate need of a new mattress set, I still don't have one because I didn't get their preferred customer card. Didn't know they had that. I understand us checking ourselves out but not the verycpoor service!

I dont know why people complain. Honestly its pretty stupid. Sams Club is awesome. Buying in bulk. Get the upgraded membership cuz it literally pays for itself. I get everythibg from pants, to wine, to even pizza when i want a great deal.

I paid for a years membership and was treated like a thief even though I had my paid receipt as proof. Finally they realized it was there mistake and fixed it. That was 2018 in December for my card for the upcoming 2019. So I tried again to give benefit of doubt it worked fine. Then today I walk in the store behind 6 different people known of which had to show the man a SAMs card. I had to show mine this is the 3rd time they’ve only asked me and let other people go through. This is discrimination and I will not renew my card after this one expires. I’m done with Sams and Walmart too! Thank goodness we have HEB.
