The breakfast is one of the best, a daily variety well set, the cook during week days provides exceptionally tasty meals. The beds are comfortable n rooms well maintained. The pool was down due to construction. Everything else was what I needed for my trips. A good location Thank you

Excellent location for long-term stay and the staff was professional in so many ways.

The hotel is stunning, with exceptional rooms. However, the staff's behavior is highly unprofessional, bordering on rude. Their curt and dismissive attitude was evident in my own interactions and in an incident where an elderly guest inquired about local dining and attractions in San Angelo. The concierge responded with a blank stare, followed by an awkward silence, before brusquely saying, “Did you not see Cork and Pig across the street?” At $160 per night, I expect a far higher standard of service and a more polished overall experience.

The Staybridge Suites is a hotel that is military and family friendly. It’s centrally located close to Goodfellow AFB, quiet and clean.
Received outstanding customer service from Andy and his staff at the front desk. Culley Miller welcomes everyone with a smile and provides outstanding customer service making all customers and IHG members feel valued, especially the military. Jessica Miller will help make your stay refreshing with her great food selection during breakfast. Her presentation and southern hospitality is awesome!
This hotel is less than 10 minutes from the base, making our visit with our family member in training memorable and relaxing.

Reserved and paid for a KING suite. Arrived and went to the room (314) only to find that there was no king bed, only a small queen size bed. In addition, the rooms were dirty. Dust all in the cabinets and everywhere. Hotel is in dire need of cleaning and repairs. When management was made aware of the issues, all they said was they would notify maintenence. Why would you notify maintenance of the wrong size bed in a reserved KING room? This is the exact reason, as a diamond elite member, I quit using IHG hotels. The customer service and quality has wained and there is absolutely no regard for taking care of the customer. Hotel prices are at an all time high and for a global chain to treat their patrons as IHG currently does, is a slap in the face.
If given the opportunity, find another chain to patronize as IHG has turned to what Motel6 is. And for the San Angelo Staybridge location, I would not recommend this location to a single person nor would I EVER stay there again.

The breakfast spread here is above and beyond most IHG hotels.

My word, for my husband to say there was NOTHING he didn't like about a hotel is major! Beds are comfy, rooms are well insulated, details about hotel room, staff was very friendly, and breakfast had a great selection that didn't taste ready from frozen. As a matter of fact, we are still here, debating on leaving to do what we need to get done, or wait until they drag us out, kicking and screaming haha Definitely going to book again!!
**Editing to add that this is still our favorite hotel. Stayed over this weekend and just really enjoyed it. Had a good night's sleep and breakfast was delicious, with so many options of cereal, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, yogurts, cottage cheese, jellies, waffles, pastries, breads, and even a small salad. We didn't have a single issue other than the pillows were too soft for my liking lol Still keeping my 5-star review! :)

I stayed here for 7 months for work.
TLDR: this hotel offers a lot of value for a long stay but it’s housekeeping, maintenace, and decor need work.
This hotel is prime for any long stay in the area. The breakfast service is among the best I’ve ever experienced at any hotel in my life, particularly when served by Yelena.
The front desk staff was always attentive and helpful, with tasks such as retaining mail and hearing concerns.
The rooms are a bit dated, but still serviceable, most amenities function as intended.
The biggest problem for this hotel was the inconsistent housekeeping. There is a schedule for services and housekeeping rarely kept to it. Sometime I would go several days without service. Other times the service was very poor and cleaning subpar.
Additionally, maintenance concerns were dealt with poorly and some equipment remained non-functional for nearly a week.
This hotel is an excellent value, but its best staff are diminished by other departments containing apathetic employees.

Giving 5 stars, only because 10 stars is not an option. My room is very clean and the staff are very helpful and kind. Truly feels like home away from home. Stayed here long term and was very impressed by my accommodations day after day. Wonderful group of people work here.
Rooms: Rooms are updated and spacious

Very hard to get room service and maintenance here. Asked for someone to fix a leak in our room for 2 days, and nobody came. Leaking water started making room smell. Requested housekeeping 3 times and they finally showed up 2 days later. In the mean time I had to go to front desk to get new towels and toilet paper. Kinda frustrating. If the rooms were so nice, We'd go elsewhere.
Noteworthy details: Pool and hot tub and courtyard are well maintained

I hate to write this review but what I am going through I feel it’s necessary to warn others. I stayed in room 129 where I believe something must have bit me while sleeping causing me to have severe skin infection. After $300 in medical bills and a ruined vacation upon returning home from a work conference in San Angelo I am slowly recovering from cellulitis covering the bottom half of my left leg. I was quite frightened that it would get necrotic or worse it become septic.
Safety: Issues with sterile bedding
