We came to stay when my Grandpa passed away and loved it and decided this was our go to hotel UNTIL we literally got woken up out of the dead of our sleep at the crack Ace of dawn by the housekeeping the first morning they did it we just kept quit but laid awake listening to the most annoying laugh the second morning the laughing kept going on and on and was this time accompanied with rap music we where like ok this is annoying AF so we called the desk where the lady seemed to act dumb founded and told us it was a break room she said she would ask them to keep it down but then 30 mins later the laughing continues so we call back where she proceeded to gas light us and all of a sudden it was a “meeting” I guess apparently the house keepers bump rap and laugh in this meeting she proceeds to tell us there is nothing she can do this is their morning meeting and they will be done in a minute! Me and my husband work our ACes off and wanted to get some much needed rest and this is the thanks I get after spending my hard earned money here! We are going to look for somewhere else next time! I recommend you do to.

The first time we stayed at Staybridge it was amazing. We loved our stay and plan to stay again. That was two weeks ago. This time I was more than disappointed we got to the room. Half the lights in the bedroom didn’t work and the main light in the bathroom did not work, the room was very plain and seemed very cramped and utilitarian. I don’t know if it is because they put us in an ADA room which none of us are disabled so there’s no need for that. We contacted the front desk, informed them of the lights not working, and were informed that maintenance was not there on the weekends, so finally they offered to switch us to another room, but the room was downgraded from a king bedroom suite, which has its own bedroom to just a king suite, which does not have a separate bedroom or a pullout couch so now our son will be stuck in the room with us, instead of having his own separate room to sleep in at night, and we will have no privacy to speak of, so basically, we were given the option of a room with lights that basically don’t work or half of them don’t work or room with lights at work, but no privacy we come to San Angelo quite often due to family being here Travel over 3 1/2 hours to get here every time so it was more than disappointing to come to a room like That that was a two star hotel room at best at least even at a motel six the lights work

Great location with plenty of food options nearby. Friendly staff. I stayed in a king suite for 4 nights for business. I travel often for work and this is the third hotel I have stayed at in San Angelo.Upon entering the room after check in, it was extremely hot and had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. The heater was set to 75 which I think made the smoke smell worse. The room was pretty clean, dishes were stored, but cups didn’t look fully clean. Whatever is used to mop the floor left a white residue that was very apparent. The A/C seems like it will have trouble to cool the room during the warmer months has I had it set between 60-64 to feel comfortable.Everyday I left for work, I left the window partially opened and the bathroom vent on to try to dissipate the smoke smell. The smoke smell seemed to be less everyday, or I was just getting use to it. This smell was the worst thing about this room. The room is labeled as non smoking so either the guest before me was a heavy smoker or someone did in fact smoke in the room previously. The room seems a little dated and had a few cosmetic issues, for example the bathroom door handle backing was loose and the smoke detectors were a very worn and faded yellow.Overall, I would stay here again as this hotel has been better than the other two I have previously stayed in.

Favorite place to stay in San Angelo!!I highly recommend staying here. Super friendly staff. Rooms extremely clean, welcoming and relaxing. I really appreciate the late check out time and have never not been able to check in a little early. The outside pool, hot tub and grills are beautifully lit in the evening. The morning breakfast is amazing. Definitely not a hotel that I would expect to be in San Angelo.Walking distance to great dining in the evening.Lots of different eating options for anytime of the day or something on the go.Close to Angelo State University facilities and Bobcat Stadium/San Angelo StadiumCan’t wait to go back!

I am happy to say that Mayby the General Manager of the Staybridge Suites in San Angelo called to let me know my reservation has been canceled and money refunded as I requested. I reserved two nights for the weekend, looking forward to The Concho Christmas celebration, but we had a health issue come up. I could not get through to the hotel, so I contacted IHG and tried several avenues to cancel. Anyway, I am pleased to report the problem has been solved and I am grateful to the gracious manager. We will certainly stay at Staybridge during our next trip out west. Thank you .

Couldn’t have gotten a closer location to the college which was the purpose of our visit. While we didn’t go to the pool or hot tub, we had a room with a view of it and the whole area there looked inviting. Enjoyed breakfast and it was one of the best breakfast offerings we have had from hotels. The room was decent enough. Functional and served it purposes had we needed to cook. However, the room definitely needed its fair share of touch-ups. Clearly an animal had been in the room we were assigned. There were scratch marks on the walls and cabinets, hole patches (some unpainted), you could tell the couch arm rests had been chewed as they were frayed, and the bed skirt had round stain marks all over it. Aside from that the air vents were dusty and dirty. Overall it was ok, but was overpriced for what we got.

Spent several nights here in a one-bedroom suite. We were impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was. Everything we needed to cook meals, plus a dishwasher. Having a bedroom separate from the living room was so nice and incredibly spacious. Breakfasts were different each morning and the meet & greet gatherings were also stocked with complimentary food & beverages. Our daughter loved the pool, which was well maintained. Would definitely recommend! Restaurants, grocery, and anything else you need are nearby. Staff were friendly & helpful and our dogs were also welcomed guests.Rooms: Spacious, clean, great amenitiesNearby activities: Restaurants, shopping, and sporting events all within walking distanceFood & drinks: Variety of options provided as well as sundry available

I really cannot say enough good things about this place. We were made a reservation from another source and they booked my family of five in a single king sized bed. Shannon was able to change rooms to a double so my family would be more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Actual hot breakfast not just apples and cereal. The rooms were clean. My kids enjoyed the pool area. The location is great. Every place we want to was within 10 minutes. All the staff was so nice. I would definitely recommend staying here.Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfortableNearby activities: Everything was close. Restaurants were just right down the street.
