The pooch Pros have absolutely changed our dog and gave me the confidence to train him!

We got our pup from the shelter. He’s 3, and we don’t know what life looked like for him. We do know he was in the shelter for at least 6 months. Naturally, when we brought him home, he was pretty anxious and overprotective of his new home and owners. My husband and I didn’t feel like we had the skills to help him, so after a month of his behavioral problems worsening, we called the Pooch Pros. They were able to get him in for a 6 week board and train immediately due to a cancellation they had.
Because we hadn’t had him very long, they altered their training to fit our families needs. They were extremely communicative the whole time which helped me a ton.
I’ve never done anything like this or had these kinds of problems with a new pup, so to say I was nervous about sending him away is an understatement! But it was worth every penny.
They didn’t magically fix him. He still has things to work on, but what’s important is that we now have the tools and the confidence to make him feel safe and continue the training they started.
We’ve had him back a few weeks now. He is so much happier because he knows he doesn’t have to feel anxious. He knows we’re in charge AND we will take care of him. My home is a better place because of the help the Pooch Pros provided. I have only good things to report, and I hope you trust them to help you too!

The Pooch Pros did a wonderful job with our 9 month old silver labrador puppy Koko, who had severe anxiety, and needed obedience & calming training more than any dog we have ever had. Initially we signed her up for 2 weeks with a likely third week, and they ultimately ended up keeping Koko for seven weeks, giving us a generous discount while they worked through Koko’s anxiety and training. When they brought Koko home this morning, she had been transformed into a calm and obedient sweetheart. They stayed with us for several hours going through the various commands and even how to properly walk her. Thank you George and Angela for giving us a miracle!

We can’t say enough good things about how much the Pooch Pros helped us with our 6 month old golden retriever. He was getting out of control, jumping on us, and not listening to our commands. During a home consultation, they quickly helped us learn to take control back, curb the unwanted behaviors and we now have a calm, well behaved puppy. I highly recommend them!

Our sweet girl Cali graduated from Pooch Pros a different dog! We had to keep her kenneled most of the time because of her excessive energy. When she came home she became the perfect family dog! No more accidents in the house, no more jumping and no more craziness. Highly recommend The Pooch Pros for your dog.

They were absolutely wonderful with our dog Jasper. I would highly recommend them if you have a dog or puppy that has some learning or anxiety issues. They trained our dog to make him and our lives so much better. I can't thank them enough.

They helped train our new dog who was very hyperactive and wild. Now she's good on the leash, waits for her food, and most importantly for us we can tell her to go lay down when she's getting to be too much! 😊

The Pooch Pros have been super accommodating to me and my dogs over the past few months. They have cared so well for them and are quite flexible and caring. Moreover, they charge a reasonable fee for their services, lowest I’ve seen in San Angelo.

George and Angela helped my Skipper(a Great Dane). He had bad anxiety. While he was there he was trained on how to walk, staying off furniture, crate trained, and more. He is a different dog now. Thanks a bunch for taking care of my fur baby.

My dog was a rescue. I didn’t know how to help her. I sent her with Angela and her husband. After nearly three weeks, she is more calm and definitely a different dog. We still have some work to do, but we are on our way. Thank you!!!!

Angela and George with pooch pros has been a blessing in our lives. They have shown nothing but kindness to me and my husky. He had really bad separation anxiety, for the last 6 year, and they have helped to alleviate it. It is a long road to get him over it, but they have helped tremendously in the process. They are true pros in their career. I went from having a crazy dog out in public to getting compliments on how well behaved he is. They really care about the wellbeing of both the pooches and their owners. I would recommend them to anyone who needs some training for their pups.

I just got my little schnoodle back from his stay with Pooch Pros and I couldn’t be happier. Frankie has learned many things, and Angela was kind enough to teach me everything I needed to do so that he would continue to learn.Something really really liked about Pooch Pros is how caring and gentle Angela and her husband were with Frankie.Uh I selected them based on their fantastic reviews. And the fact that they do not use electronic collars. They teach dogs the old fashion way. I really appreciate this. You could tell how much Frankie liked Angela when she was here.They were very good about Sending pictures and videos. Not only did. Frankie learn some new things but he’s certainly had a good time.I would recommend Pooch Pros. They exceeded my expectations.

We used the Pooch Pros for an in home consultation for our two doodles. They were professional and had everything line up and organized for their session with us. They communicated with us well and gave us a lot of good information and training that is already showing great results in our dogs. Would highly recommend them.

I cannot express enough gratitude for Angela and George at their board & train program. My dog, Bean, struggled with severe anxiety, and I was at a loss. But Angela and George worked miracles during the three weeks Bean was with them. I was regularly updated with photos and videos to see his progress. Bean is now calm, attentive, and exceeds all my expectations. They've not only saved my dog but also transformed our relationship. I can't recommend their program enough! Angela and George are absolute lifesavers!
