Toy Stores
“I was in the flood inSan Angelo on July 3-4 2025. I got off light compared to some of my neighbors. Still, I lost a fair amount of stuff. Went to Ollie's to se about replacing some it. Mostly little items, but there were a couple of larger things, like display cases, end tables, etc. They had most of what I needed, but the furniture items were MDF, not solid wood. Yeah, if it's not solid wood, don't want it, no matter how great the pricing might be. Ollie's has been terminally short-handed for months, so finding a staffer, much less a helpful one, was like finding a ?. The atmosphere is typical Bargsin Basement. Stacks of Mostly useless junk with gems mixed in. Like Rice-a-Roni. I hadn't seen it in stores for years. I go to Ollie's and find 2 cases of it! Didn't want to be greedy, so I only snagged 1 case
Overall, a visit to Ollie's is like a cross between Ross, Walmart, and Kohls. At Ollie's, you REALLY need to take your time and look, otherwise you could walk right by the Crown Jewels and never know it. Overall, it seems like a larger version of Big Lots.”
“What a wonderful experience. This store has it all, spent hours googling and seeing things-and spent money on lots of unique gifts. Keep this store as perfect as it is! Wonderful staff always too!”
“My family absolutely loves this toy store! They have unique items that you don't find in big box stores. The staff is always super friendly with lots of knowledge about the store.”
