I’ve been a client for more than 10 years and Alley always delivers. She’s fast, friendly, and is a pro at hair coloring. I haven’t found a place in San Antonio that does such a good job with my hair and her prices are very reasonable.

Janice is an absolute treasure! I had a last minute need and not only did she accommodate, she did a top notch job. Really sweet stylist. Had a really great time chatting about our kids while she worked on my mop. I am very happy and will absolutely return.

Janise is a lifesaver! I had a recent botched hair cut- should length and with a million layers choppy and very uneven. I don’t know how she managed to make it beautiful but she did. I got an appointment with her the same day I messaged her asking if she was able to fix my hair. She is very kind and welcoming- book with her you won’t regret it! Prices are very reasonable for the quality!

Great atmosphere they did my nieces hair and they did a great job on their hair.
Requested style: Short shoulder length hair with short bangs that show off their eyes!

Highly wouldn’t recommend. I got my hair cut by a hairstylist there (Ale) and she did a terrible job. I asked for a certain color as well and she didn’t give what I asked for. She did attempt to fix it, but still wasn’t the color from the inspo pic. I asked for a V cut with a face frame and got a butcher job. I will attach photos. I was offered by said stylist to fix it but I rather save myself and not go back. I lost so much length having another stylist fix it.. my hair was almost to my bottom and now it’s a little past my shoulders. Will include before, after, inspo pic and what I got. Last photo is the attempt at color correcting as well as photo of the cut job.. uneven, one long strand. I understand I was in communication with having it fixed but again, I didn’t want to risk it messing up again and having to go much shorter.

Julie (Jewels) is an excellent hair stylist! Her experience with cuts, and colors is perfection! I am very particular, with who does my hair, and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Julie is punctual, courteous, welcoming, and most importantly experienced at what she does. Don't hesitate to book an appointment with her. She will amaze you and you won't go anywhere else!

I visited Janise to get a haircut to actually fix a horrible haircut I had gotten prior to visiting A Cut Above Hair Salon. She fixed my face frame and curtain bangs. The other salon made my hair look so choppy and uneven it was so noticeable when I styled my hair. Janise did such a great job! The price of my haircut was affordable as well!
