DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. GO TO AUTOZONE INSTEAD. Old man at the front was in a VERY bad mood when i walked in. He needs to either retire or find another job. I asked him if he could check the codes on my car due to a “service engine soon” light and he lies to me and says the code readers only work on “check engine” lights. Which i knew was not true. The whole time he was talking to me he had attitude like it was his time of the month. So i left and took it to AutoZone and the helped me without question.

I am a mechanic and love coming to this location. I had went there this week and immediately was greeted by everyone there. When I spoke to Andrew not only was he talking to me with a smile but he also enlightened me about my speedy perks and how to best use them. Andrew was awesome the he took the time to help me get the best service for being a long time member. The manager was also very helpful when I needed to exchange parts she was nice and doesn't make me feel like she doesn't care about my needs for exchanging items for the right parts ty ⭐. Wendy has a can do attitude with a smile that is welcoming and matt the assistant was also getting involved by making sure I got what I need. Thank you very much for being great😊 I like your team effort and giving me the best experience when I need auto parts. I would definitely encourage everyone to be a advance perks member and head into west avenue advance auto parts location on west avenue because they rock.

I walked in and said "I want to get some wipers installed on my car" and the rude pot belly was rude and said "we do not just install wipers here". I said "ok, I want to buy and have you install the wipers" and he looked at me like he was going to take my head off which would have been a mistake on his part. I understand he might of had a bad day, but that was over the top.

I will not go anymore never in that store. PAUL that is his Name: Old man in glasses was very rude to me. I asked him very respectful would you please check if I bought my back break pads in Advance Auto Parts for my Lexus ? He did not find any purchase in that store!!!! Any !!! I have a lot of receipts as approve of purchases! Also I always ask to put my number just in case in the System! So it’s all not true. He just did not want to help me at all! It’s looking like he is very very tired and I asked him very hard question. After that I askedhim if I can use Restroom. Of course he told me NO!!! There is No public restroom! Again I was very very nice to him. I’m driving Lexus CUV 2022. I was very very upset of that Customer Service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO GO TO THAT LOCATION TO ANYONE! Stay AWAY! If you don’t want receive bad experiences. Also I know that is not the Company policy to don’t give a Customers to use Restroom. It’s Paul’s decision to Don’t let me use Restroom! I never never had that experience in any Auto store! At least they aloud use a Restroom course I’m a Costomer! Very disappointed!

Andrew was patient and thorough in doing an inspection of my battery that cost me nothing. Sometimes, when employees do free work, their work can be sloppy or their attitude can be less than appealing. But Andrew was kind and worked effectively and efficiently.

Let’s start with the basics of how an auto parts store operates. I run an auto repair business, as such commercial auto accounts are generally in the back of the store. Which means I generally have to go into the back of the store to see my parts people. About every parts store is like that. This particular store is not, but I have to go behind the counter just about every trip to look at their screen to photo verify the part we are discussing, ensure it looks like the correct one, see inventory count, list, cost, etc…. That’s because their computers don’t swivel enough to show the customer parts info they are looking at if they are standing in front of the counter. Furthermore, the bathrooms are also in the back of the store. Which yet again means I have to travel to the back of the store to use it. Now my issue, I had two employees and a cart in my way of getting to the back of the store for the restroom. I was walking towards them and they didn’t move, they were blocking the route to get to the back, as a result and to be polite I went around them. I shouldn’t have had to ask them to move, paying attention to you’re surroundings and moving out of the way of your customers is polite. In the process I had to incredibly briefly cut behind one 5 ft section of parts counter before getting to the restroom in the back. Liz the commercial parts girl says “whoa, whoa, whoa, what are you doing”?, I look at her like what are you talking about as i must have been behind the counter 1,000 times, no exaggeration, and she knows me well, I was going to the back to use the restroom. After I go up to the counter to sign for my online order, the manager tells me “don’t go behind the counter, you’re not an employee”. I got it the first time, she wasn’t exactly subtle. It would be one thing if the business design didn’t constantly include my having to do exactly that, but it does. Hence the irony. Being chastised as a customer who probably brings anywhere from 50-100k in annual sales to Advanced is absurd. But that’s why I’m giving every cent of my future business to your competitors. Avoid this place. They’ve gone downhill in manners and staff training. Had this not been something I’ve done countless times without any concern from staff, different story. Variables make all the difference. You can’t fault me for doing what I’ve been allowed to do for literally years. If you change policy, simply politely say that. Cool. To the franchise owner, this is why you lost a loyal customer of around a decade to your competitors. I’m going to go out of my way to refer everyone who asks, to everyone but Advanced. As a result of being a frequent customer and an “Elite Perks” member you are quite literally given preferential treatment, parking spots at the front reserved for elite, going to the back of the store where normal customers don’t go, better pricing, etc… hence why it was so silly to chastise me over something so ridiculous.
