Unthinking, rude, disrespectful. Be glad I didn't tell that biker you called him a wimp. Went to O'reilly's, where they have manners. Sold me same brand, same product. This one worked without having to fiddle with it. Your employee should be written up. Posted to every San Antonio Facebook page I belong to. Seems you have a reputation. Lesson learned. Sorry you have a stupid pool to hire from.

Roland is probably one of the nicest and patient guys I’ve ever dealt with in any automotive store. He made sure that my questions were answered and he even reached out and spoke to other stores to help me. Thank you Roland!

I purchased a battery from the Bandera and Guilbeau location and had it installed. The battery started going bad and was replaced under warranty. A male employee around 50 years old refused to install the replacement battery, saying it was "too hard." I gave up and took the battery to this location (5848 Babcock), and Richard was more than happy to install it for me. He also answered a number of other questions I had about other issues. The difference in customer service was night and day.

Staff is very attentive and helpful. I am used to walking in to a store seeing employees focused on their cell phones. Not the case here, needed to get wipers for my friends truck. He came out and looked, then got the right ones...I paid then he even came out and put the new ones on. Wish I got his name so I could tell his boss how awesome he is!

The staff were super helpful and explained everything to me. A big shout out to Jakari! She helped me find the right car battery and explained the difference in sizes and my car. She went above and beyond by referring me to a mechanic the moment she realized what I needed was beyond what Advance Auto Parts could do for me that day.I got my battery from there and will continue to buy all my car parts!

TLDR: Faulty parts, no help or recourse.Needed a new alternator for my old Ford Explorer, purchased one from here and installed. While it did charge good and appear work fine initially, my voltage gauge would violently fluctuate and spike into the red zone (16+ volts) while accelerating, making it dangerous to drive and nearly destroying my car. The alternator was also extremely hot after test driving, and somehow discharged my battery overnight. I suspect this alternator has a faulty internal voltage regulator, as often reported by other purchasers of cheap remanufactured alternators. I decided to try another alternator purchased from Pick-n-Pull (at a fraction of the price), installed, and it charged at a perfect 14.3 volts with no crazy voltage spikes. I took it back, and the faulty alternator tested "good" on their little test machine. I was informed by a rude employee that I had no financial recourse and could only swap for another alternator if this one tested "bad". Be aware that this place apparently accepts no returns for anything electrical (I was briefly told when purchasing, but naively assumed it'd work out alright). I should also mention that the alternator sold here had no Q.C. label/sticker mentioning it was tested prior to sale, while the (Duralast brand) one from the junkyard mentioned it was tested 3X. Please exercise due diligence if purchasing parts from here, as they are expensive, low quality, untested, and potentially dangerous. I regret not just sticking with the Autozone down the street, as they have only ever given me good technical advice and quality parts. I'm now stuck with an expensive paperweight...

Needed a battery for my 2002 Chevy Silverado. Stopped by and presented my situation. Staff were helpful, professional, and answered all my questions. Got me what I needed and installed the battery for me very quickly. Could not be happier! Very grateful for the super customer service I received. Turns out these guys had already installed five batteries this morning.
