Hey everyone! I’m an existing customer and wanted to share my recent shopping experience. I bought 10 pounds of goat's legs, 5 pounds of beef ground, and five chickens from this store. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the chicken meat waste. I contacted the owner and they were really understanding and apologetic. They assured me that they will address the issue. Overall, I appreciate their responsiveness and commitment to improvement. Let's hope for better cleanliness in the future! ??"

Feel bad for the live animals. They're all squished up in a small cage even though they have more room in there. No heating lamps it's so cold in there for them.

I brought two lambs in for butchering. One I needed inspected because we were going to sell the cuts through our farm. The other had been purchased by two people was they were splitting it. I asked if they were USDA inspected and I was told they were. I dropped off the two lambs for slaughter. The first thing I noticed was a really bad smell. I put it aside and dropped off the lambs. The lamb I was selling as cuts was processed first. I picked the lamb up and there were no labels on it with weights. They used a black marker to write on the shrink-wrap package what the cut was. I asked them to put on a label with weights which they did. It had their name on the label along with a weight and a price, however there was no stamp or sticker for USDA inspection. I asked about this and was brought into their cooler where they showed me a carcass with a state inspection stamp on it. He told me mine had been inspected and stamped too. He had the owner type up a Word document stating my cuts were inspected. When I got home I realized there wasn't any ground lamb and it seemed like I should have more. I called them and they assured me I had all of my lamb. About 3 days later they called back and said there was a mistake and they found more of my lamb. I was told I could come pick it up. How can I sell this and say it was really my lamb? The two people who split the other lamb had similar experiences. Both complained about the smell. One person said he didn't get any ground lamb. The other said her packages weren't even labeled. She does not know for sure what the cuts are. She wanted ground lamb in smaller packages. (I gave him the cut sheet with her request.) She got two packages. One was about 5 pounds of ground lamb. The other around a 1-2 pounds. The 5-pound package did not meet her needs. She doesn't cook 5 pounds at a time. I will not be going back. I was embarrassed by the quality of the work and mad at the same time. We are a business that values all of our customers and strives to make sure they are satisfied with the product. This was not even remotely satisfactory.

They claim on their website that their meat is never frozen. However, as I first time customer I asked for more ribs and the guy goes to the back to pull out a frozen rack. Still, prices are great. The outside smells like a barn with animals. Once in a while the smell of rotting meat or blood blows across your face. Stop claiming things aren't frozen.

Fresh meat. They have fowl, livestock, goats, and more. You select the animal you want, they clean and prepare your order as you wait. They have some cut meat in the counter and an assortment of eggs and spices. I would recommend if you like farm fresh meat.
