Staff was really nice and helpful which is the only reason why this place isn’t getting a 1 star. The prices here are not competitive at all or even close to. If you are looking for anything pc wise do not come here please. Save your money and go buy them from Amazon, Newegg or go to microcenter. Most if not all of the pc items here were overpriced and found cheaper.

Johnathan, the assistant manager, really helped me out. My laptop died mid work, and I really needed to recover the data. I had ordered a new power supply and laptop battery off 6 my laptop still wouldn't hold a charge. Took it to Altex, and with the help of Johnathan, we were able to figure out it was a defective power supply. Bought a new power supply from altex, and my laptop is now able to charge.

Dissatisfied with customer service. Bought a TV wall mount for a late TV. Did not mount the TV right away as done things needed taken care of. Today tried to mount the TV and the mount will not fit my wall. Took it back today only to find out they don't not have a 30 return policy like most business. They have a 14 day return policy. Explain when I bought the item ask the clerk about their return policy and was told as long as I have the receipt and within 30 days. Unfortunately that was not the case. I will not do business with them again and will encourage others to do the same

The store manager Chris Coffey definitely made me want to go back for business. Very informative and knowledgeable on the do/donts of systems. Helped me get a new desk top and everything. Thank you so much!

Very knowledgeable staff that provides excellent high tech service and support. They will also provide follow up support for free if you get home a realize there is something you don't understand. I took a new lap top to them that I was having trouble setting up. They set it up for min 15 minutes and didn't charge me anything. I can't say enough for their expertise and willingness to help!

Good Ole Altex... always has what I need, but never has things I want. They are great for project and install supplies, but I wish they had a better parts selection for PCs. I don't need them to be Microcenter... but man, it would be nice to have something similar in San Antonio.

Solid computer parts store. Good alternative to Best Buy and has more individual parts to select from on site if you need something quick

I took my pc here to have my existing comments moved into a new case with a few upgrades to ram and fans. My PC never had a problem. Since getting it back I have endless issues with the monitors turning off and on, unresponsive to shut down/restart, and endless freezing up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PC HERE
