Just like the other bad reviews.... wondering ? how these location is still in business......... the horrible person that sits in the front as you walk in is very unprofessional and honestly I think she hates her job. I will never go back to this location again.

Even though they were short staffed they made everything quick. Exams were well explained and by far the best I’ve had so far.

I like this location! Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr Patel was thorough and knowledgeable. The optician that helped me was very kind. Highly recommend!

Great experience from start to finish. The receptionist Mars is hilarious and patient. Very knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions. She does her job well. I hope you guys pay her good. she definitely goes above and beyond. She does the job of 3 people. We saw another customer being rude to her but she kept her composure, didn't let it affect her she still joked and smiled with other customers. Very patient. She made us feel very welcome. She made checking in fun. Most places we've been it's like talking to robots. No smiles, no change in tone. Get in get out. The entire staff was great. The only thing that was an issue for us was the long wait time. Would have given 5 stars but the wait was long. Great prices. Great staff. We will be returning.

Paid for two eyes exams for me and my daughter, ask for glasses for me and contacts for my daughter. They said two weeks for each it's been a month and half still nothing. They themselves didn't know what was taking so long, couldn't get a straight answer from manager or GM it's ridiculous. Fought to get a refund. Never again.

This location is horrible, our experience was so inconvenient. How is this location still open? They have terrible customer service. The Sloth that hides behind the front desk with her smug attitude, miserable face, and pony tail way too boring long, doesn't acknowledge you, say Hi, welcome, nothing... We walked into a business, not your living room. The managers are literally sitting in the front hearing how unprofessional this "woman" is, and don't intervene. Zero customer care. Bad service from start to end. I've been to quite a few America's Best and had great experiences. Stay away from this one.

Debated if I wanted to leave a review but the more I think about it, the more I feel like I have to do it. I have been a member of America's Best for 27 years. One of my jobs during college was a tech for America's Best in 1999. On October 21, I was a walk-in at the America's Best on Parkcrest in San Antonio. During my pre-prescription exam by a tech, the tech asked me if I wanted to purchase additional exams for $30. I declined the exam and the tech became upset. Aggressively, she told me to place my face on the device to test for glaucoma. This machine blows air into your eye which is very uncomfortable.Since I worked as a tech before, I knew there was another procedure that can be used. When I requested the alternative procedure, the tech got even more aggressive. Once the exam was over, I reported this issue to the office manager. Once I was in the office with the eye doctor, she attempted to justify why the tech had an unbelievable attitude. The eye doctor was acting very strange. Once she was done with the eye exam, she gave me temporary contacts. I put the contacts on and everything was blurry. I remove the contacts and notice my prescription was wrong. The eye doctor changed my prescription without a examination. I went to another eye doctor and as I thought, my prescription was different. I am currently seeking an attorney to see what my legs options are.

Was there on 6/11/2023 felt very welcome by the front receptionist Amanda only took about 5 minutes from check in to where angelica helped me out overall best experience I have had will defiantly recommend.

Definitely one place I will always return to. Bernie, tech Monica, Dr. Patel, and Assistant Manager Cris made my visit the most comfortable and awe inspiring experience ever. I was seen easily by just walking in and offered great options. Bernie even suggested wear I could find another pair of Oakley frames. Monica was very patient with me. I'm not the best when it comes to the air puff they do for your eyes.Dr. Patel made my eye exam easy and fun. Assistant Manager Cris helped me make the best options for my eyes and wallet.Definitely the best, America's Best. I look forward to picking up my new glasses when they come in.

Cris was awesome. The whole staff was friendly and the prices very competitive.vs LensCrafters. I noticed they have Most name brands. Very clean place etc. I will back. The whole staff is friendly from the receptionist to the tech and doctor. They are very knowledgeable and know what they are offering.
