CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! This place deserves ZERO stars. Kia owners need to be aware of the scam Ancira Kia has been doing to unsuspected customers. When you take your vehicle for maintenance, the dealer has been installing trackers on your vehicles. This could be for any number of reasons, but the fact that they are not informing the customer raises major concerns. Check your vehicles for any after-market devices. Call and report this to police. When I asked why this was placed on my vehicle, I was hung up on by the dealership.

I had a very good experience buying my Kia Sorento. Even though it took over 4 hours I appreciated the building being very clean and a general pleasant waiting area. I also liked my salesperson Auric who went out of his way to accommodate me. Thank you.

do not go there period! My engine light came on and it stated what the problem was so i took it in and told them. They said they found nothing wrong and charged me 202 dollars in spite of what i told them what was wrong. Then the light came back on so i took it back and they told me what i told them in the beginning what was wrong and they also said it wasn't covered by my warranty! So I got my money back and went to World Car Kia and they fixed my problem and said it was under warrant! I highly recommended World car Kia as Ancira is. total rip off. Don't go there!!!

UPDATE: I decided to give Ancira a second chance when searching for a certified preowned Telluride. The vehicle was listed as a certified preowned with a stated price. When it was time to breakdown the numbers they attempted to tack on thousands of dollars stating it was a fee for the CPO inspection. When I disputed the fee with them, and explained how advertising the vehicle as a certified pre-owned then tacking on an inspection fee could be in violation of FTC regulations for advertising they finally agreed to waive the fees. I then let them run my application and gave them an $8000 cash deposit to get the buying process started. When it was time to sign at finance, they attempted to sell me an extended warranty, I declined stating it wasn't necessary as the vehicle was a CPO. They said it wasn't and then asserted that because they waived the inspection fee, it would not be considered CPO. This is some of the shadiest business practice I've ever encountered. Not only were they already holding $8000 of my cash, but they had also already dinged my credit. This was an awful experience and everyone involved should be fired. My family has bought a number of cars in the San Antonio area, and regularly does business with Jay Awashra, Ancira's most celebrated salesman. After this experience I will never recommend any friend or family member ever do business with Ancira. If this is common practice for them, avoid at all costs. After quite a bit of research I decided I wanted to purchase k5, so I stopped by Ancira with my preaproval letter in hand. Not one staff member even acknowledged me or my family. I looked at several vehicles outside, then even went inside to look at the showroom k5, and again... not one person said a word to us. Saw a group of salesman and what appeared to be a manager congregating around a golf cart, but they were apparently too busy conversing to try and make an easy sale.

Definitely 5 stars, I went just to know what I needed to buy a vehicle and they ask me for all the info first and before to run my credit they ask me if they can and also explain to me how much the payments will be. They believed that I can go with a brand new vehicle so I believed in them and I got approved. They also explain me all the features on the car and show me how to use it, that was the best thing besides explain to me all the guarantees the vehicle has. I extremely recommend Carlos Cesar Coss, if you need someone that can speak Spanish he would definitely help you out. I really think everyone is really good over there, but Carlos goes one step ahead for showing me how to use every single feature in the car. That was amazing because we didn't ask for it. Very happy with my new vehicle!!!

Don't bother coming to get your car serviced here unless you got the time to sit around all day. Made an appointment and waited over 3 hours for an oil change. If I didn't get up to ask about my car I dont even think that they would have even started it. What's the point of making an appointment. You get faster service without one. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

They are not customer loyal; we purchased 5 Kias here and this is the last one we will purchase from them. Only reason we purchased this time was they were the only local dealer with the HEV. The trade in offers are just stupid and their Sales Mgr is just arrogant. If your a Vet there's other dealers in town.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this dealership, and it primarily stemmed from the complete lack of teamwork and communication between the finance team and sales team. It was clear that these departments were not working together, causing immense frustration and leading me to abandon any plans of purchasing a car from this dealership.Throughout my visit, I encountered numerous instances where the sales team and finance team seemed to be completely disconnected. Essential information was either lost or miscommunicated, resulting in a chaotic and unorganized process. It was as if the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. In the end, the abysmal coordination between the finance team and sales team left me with no confidence in the dealership's ability to handle my purchase efficiently and effectively. I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere, where I could find a more competent and customer-focused team that understands the importance of seamless communication and teamwork.Overall, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone seeking a smooth and hassle-free car-buying experience. Until they address their internal communication issues and foster a more cohesive environment, I would advise potential customers to steer clear and explore alternative options.

Today, we have had the absolute worst car buying experience ever. We worked for 2 days with the dealership to purchase a car that is 3+ hours from our home because they were the closest with the color my son wanted for his first car. We had our own financing through my credit union and they worked with the dealership to provide a cashiers check, so I could bring my son to get his car. After numerous communications with our financing lead and the dealership, we thought we were picking up the car tomorrow with the cashiers check in hand only to be told after everything was completed and met all of their teams requests, that they could not release the car for a week. This was after we purchased our one-way airfare to San Antonio to get the car and drive it home. They refused to follow through their commitments although they took money from my son to hold the car for Saturday and knew we were coming. They kept on telling us to finance through them instead and we can get the car tomorrow, but they knew from the very start we did not need their financing. Now I have a kid without his first car that he was so excited to get. There is nothing positive I can say about this dealership after the large amounts of miscommunication and now I am sitting here with a car loan that has been finalized and signed off on, but no car!!!! I hope the owner or his daughter the VP of Ancira Auto Group sees this review as there is so much more to share about the practices we encountered.UPDATE: I spoke to 4 different finance managers at different dealerships since this happened yesterday and all 4 said they were shocked and we would have walked out of their dealership with the car today as planned. They stated that everyone in finance understands how cashiers checks from banks and credit unions work and said it seemed to them that the dealership had ulterior motives and weren't being genuine.

In 5 trips to address service issues with my K-900 I remain stunned by the lack of timeliness and competence. For an oil change I sat in the poorly equipped waiting room 4 hours and then asked about the delay. It was not in the service bay, and they brought the car to me and agreed I should reschedule. Another, leather on the driver's seat is wearing, with less than 15,000 miles and they suggested that I get a towel to wrap around my seat.Kia manufactures a fine automobile, however the North American region in California, and the Ancira family of dealers in San Antonio have no willingness to service the customer after the sale.

My wife and I bought a 2015 Kia forte with approximately 84.5k miles from Ancira Kia in San Antonio, TX Late July of 2022. Since purchasing the car, we have put less than 4000 miles on it odometer reads approximately 88.1k miles. Not enough miles to perform its first oil change. Sunday, the vehicle had the check engine light turned on. The motor developed a loud knocking sound. I checked the oil, and to my surprise, it had no oil. I thought that to be strange since there was no warning sign of loss of oil pressure or engine overheating. Added oil to the motor to drive it to a mechanic shop to diagnose the check engine light and to figure out why the motor had no oil with only 4000 miles of use since the purchase date. As I pulled out of our driveway, I expected to see some evidence of oil on the ground. How else would four quarts of oil vanish with as few miles driven? It would be reasonable to believe I had a significant leak. Upon arriving at the shop, I rechecked the oil level alongside my mechanic, and this time to my surprise, the oil level held--a big head-scratcher. The following morning I got the news that the rod bearing was shot. In other words, the motor is blown, and it would be less expensive to buy a new engine than to repair the existing motor. The shop confirmed no visible external oil leaks. What this means is that the motor is burning over a quart of oil every 1000 miles. My next call was to the dealership. I spoke with the salesman that sold us the car and told him what had happened. He said he would talk with his manager and get back to us. We felt safe buying from this dealership and thought they would assist. It was apparent this car had a significant mechanical defect when we purchased it. The salesman called me back to relay the manager's answer, which in a nutshell, told us to pound sand. We don't know how well you've treated the car once you left the lot, they said. I reminded them that although we have owned this car for six months, we have only put in 4000 miles, that's about 667 miles on average per month. The dealership should have never sold this car in the first place. I have found out that there is an active class-action lawsuit against Kia and Hyundai for excessive oil consumption , and 1000s, if not hundreds of thousands, of Kia and Hyundai owners have experienced the same. It is shameful that you are not taking ownership of your mistakes. Selling this car was a mistake. At the very least, you should cover the cost of replacing a defective motor at no cost to the consumer or repurchase the car at the original purchase price from the consumer. Should you like to read more of the lawsuit, below is the name of the case file. You can copy and paste the title to a search engine for your research. Cho et al v. Hyundai Motor Company, Ltd. et al. Case No. 8:22-cv-00448 Do not do business here, and do not buy Kai or Hyundai.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had a horrible experience with Ancira Kia. I highly recommend more communication on Ancira's end. I was told my service would take 1-2 business days and it took 3 weeks. I consistently called for updates and they never had any until about 3 days before my car was ready. This made is incredibly difficult to coordinate my need for a rental car. Additionally, my warranty said the service should have taken 1-2 business days and they only paid for 1-2 days of labor. I feel it was wrong or improperly communicated to me as to why I had to pay the remaining amount when it was Ancira's fault for taking so long. Lastly, my car was done on a Friday but no one called me to inform me so I had to pay for 3 additional days of a rental car that I did not need and had to pick up my car on a Monday.

Ancira Kia service department has impressed me again. The service manager Javier is excellent at making sure the customer is happy before they leave. He instills this in his employees as well. Bianca and Ian have both helped me in the past and they work hard to make the customer happy. Each time I go in, they are quick, courteous, and respectful of the customers. Running a business like this makes me want to return. Thank you Ancira Service Department.

My sister had to take her 2015 Optima Hybrid in because the hybrid system (still under warranty) shut down and left her stranded on the side of the road. She had her car towed there last week, on a Thursday. She called them and let them know it was coming and asked how long it would be until it was diagnosed. They told her it would be Monday or Tuesday the next week. So Monday she never heard anything. Tuesday comes around and she still doesn't hear anything so she calls and they tell her that now it won't be seen until Thursday or Friday. She proceeds to tell them that she has no car and needs to get to work. The guy just told her that everyone who brings their car there doesn't have a car. So compassionate, huh? So her car is still there just waiting around for them to find the time to work on it at their leisure. This place never keeps their word and I suspect that they are delaying because the repairs are covered under warranty so it takes longer for them to get paid for their work and they can't swindle her out of more money. This dealer is terrible, I don't know why anyone would buy a car from them or use them for service. What good is a 100,000 mile warranty if you can't get them to fix it?
