If I could put one star I would. BEWARE OF BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.You are forced to sign a 2 year contract. Even if you lose your job or have medical issues, you CANNOT cancel. The club itself actually can’t can’t do anything for you. You are required to call ABC fitness to do anything. The most they offered as help was two months of the bill only being $10 to “pause” where you cannot use the gym even though they require you to pay.My contract ended recently and I thought I would finally be done getting charged. Nope! Now it is continuing to charge me, at an EVEN HIGHER rate. They automatically renewed me even though I called ABC to cancel months ago. Now they want 30 day notice even though when I called in April I told them I wanted to cancel. They did not make me aware of any notice needing to be submitted, just that the last month of my contract was in October.I highly suggest finding a gym without a contract, with out high rates and one that can actually help you without sending you to a third party.

Owner has terrible customer service. Membership is through "active n fit" and kept trying to push buying a membership through anytime fitness directly after making it extremely clear that was not an option.

The overall gym is great I love coming here and I love that it gives me a safe place to workout knowing only paying members can enter but what I don't like is that I am getting the 5th degree about canceling my account it has been 4 times I have been redirected to a side company to cancel this account and every time I am told it can not be done and I have to send in a email explaining why I want to cancel my account and that it'll take 30 days to cancel. By far one of the worst company I have ever dealt with when cancelling a account the fact I have been charged almost 200 dollars now cause every time I try to cancel the account they say oh it can't be done or oh we have to talk to the anytime fitness location. I would have rather gone to planet fitness and gotten way more for what I am paying here.

The gym is clean and in a great location, however the membership fee is outrageously too much. The gym is too small and doesn’t offer enough amenities to be charging people high gym memberships.

Overall nice clean gym.I had the walk thru and….. if you want to use the Wexar Virtual well there is to much equipment in the room to even feel comfortable and then there is other customers working out in there most just on there phones.not really big enough some of the equipment is pointless and needs to be replaced with something everyone uses.

I've been a member for 1.5 years and have received excellent customer service from Brock at Anytime Fitness Stevens Ranch. When you walk into the gym, the staff is friendly and greets you. The staff is also consistently cleaning and sanitizing the equipment.A suggestion / remodel for the future - possibly getting another ab machine as there is only 1. Expanding the area where the squat racks are; it's kind of tight when they are all being used. There is a fitness room (hit or miss on it's usage) with a bike, rower, weights, and a stretch machine. It's a good space to stretch or lift if the weight area is occupied. It'd be cool to use/expand that room to accommodate live instructors like Zumba, boxing, barre etc. with a large class rather than using the projector screen.Just like any other gym there a peak times and not too busy times to visit. We love that it's conveniently located where we live!

The reviews about this particular location are just stuck up people complaining. Is the gym basic? Yes, but that's it's entire purpose as a business and is what allows it to be a 24/7 gym. Small, Easy to maintain and clean up during normal business hours, and the price is up there because it is a 24/7 gym. LA Fitness, Gold's Gym, Planet Fitness are not 24 hours AND those gym's always have more broken equipment than most Anytime Fitnesses. These bad reviews are just from people who A) Don't know how to workout B) Complain about everything in their lives when something requires bare minimum effort and C) are simply unsatisfied with their personal lives that they have to take it out on businesses. This gym is also a newer location with growing pains. Give them a break. They have to see their clientele first before being able to perfect themselves. Unlike these negative comments at least the gym is actively trying to improve themselves in a positive way versus putting the blame on others *cough cough* grown adults are complaining and crying worse than their children now a days. My opinion is Sign up. Learn how to workout, we have the internet WITH VIDEOS for a reason now a days, and go in and do what you need to do and leave. It's not difficult. Lastly, you will be surprised to know that if you simply ask someone who appears to be in good shape nicely at ANY gym on how to do something, they would love to show you the proper technique. I'm serious about that, gym people when asked nicely while they are resting after lifting are some of the nicest people around. Nicer than walking past someone on the sidewalk. It's an entire community and if someone was mean to you when asking for help. Big whoop. Mean people exist, just ask someone else obviously that single person has issues. Change has to start from within, otherwise it's a continuous self harming circle on repeat in life.

Went to Anytime Fitness this morning. The smellI never see anyone cleaning/ wiping down. I go At different times. There is never any cleaning products smell. I have to spend almost 3 minutes wiping down any machine or equipment I use. I bring my own Lysol wipes and towel as well. I avoid using the restroom due to men/women share same bathroom. I notice like 4 people this morning not wiping down after use of machines and other equipment. I would love to cancel now however my contract isn't up til October 2023. I definitely want be renewing.

It's a fantastic gym with great people! I've never had any issues. And yeah, they might be expensive, but you're paying for what you get. There's a little bit of everything and everything is such high quality. Would highly recommend to all people looking for a fantastic gym experience.

This gym was going to increase my membership without letting me know. They said because i didn't go to my home gym enough and started coming over here they were going to switch me. Then I had to get information out of the guy that they were going to raise my rate. Not cool.

Overpriced for what it is. They don't partner with any programs so if you want a membership be prepared to spend over 50 bucks a month for a hotel gym at best. They have less equipment and variety than others in SA. No vending options if you want any caffeine or bottled water while there.

Nice, clean, very small, quite expensive per month compared to other gyms. Contract trap for sure. $600 to cancel mine and my partners memberships. You’re able to pause the membership for 2 months but still have to pay $10 per month, lol. Recently moved and finances are all over the place. Missed a payment and quadruple overdraft on my account (bank and gym both charge late fees). None of this was explained when signing up. Never experienced such a rigid contract with a gym. Will be signing up to Tru Fit instead, no contract and $10-$20/month there. Gym experience overall was decent, the financial experience was a disaster. Would not recommend.

I have been a member of many other gyms but none compare to the excellent customer service and cleanliness of Anytime Fitness Stevens Ranch. When you walk in the gym, the staff greets you by your name and is always willing to answer any questions you may have. The staff is also consistently cleaning & sanitizing the equipment. Highly recommend!

Gym is clean nice with a friendly staff and a nice location. But the cancellation policy is ridiculous. I wasn’t informed of a cancellation fee at the time I signed up. It wasn’t included in the contract and just when I was unable to attend the gym again I was told I need to pay a $250 cancellation fee. This is a material information I feel should be included in the contract. If I knew of this, I wouldn’t have signed up in the first place because this amount is very expensive

I been a member for 3 months. And I’ve lost about 30 pounds, I really enjoy the positive encouragement from the staff and trainers. The gym is always clean and the machines are always in good working condition. Very well lit. I recommend this facility for anyone who has always wanted to lose weight but has never found the right gym.
