I recently visited Armstrong McCall and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I went in to purchase a few items, and while I understand that employees can get busy, the lady at the register, who wore glasses and had redish hair, was not helpful at all. She stayed behind the counter and never approached us to ask if we needed help. We were struggling to find a few things, and even after asking her twice to assist, she still didn't offer any help.
When I asked about a specific product, she told me it wasn't in stock and refused to check the back, saying they had already pulled everything out. I also had trouble reaching for a brush since I'm short, and despite clearly struggling, she didn't offer assistance. I ended up dropping the product, and the top broke because of it.
To be fair, the man working there was a little friendlier, though he was busy. It’s disappointing that the woman at the register wasn’t more helpful or friendly. I hope they improve their customer service in the future.

The man and lady there were very rude, they are not helpful and have a mean attitude. Coming from someone who works in customer service this is not okay. I would never go here again.

Ladies are so rude, every very time I asked for help they roll their eyes like I'm bothering them. All the other locations extremely friendly and helpful. Never going back to the one on Ingram.

The owner should know that the people that work here are not friendly at all. They don’t even great you and don’t ask you for help and when you ask for help they act as if your bothering them. Such a bad taste they give this store. To the lady and gentleman that worked 4/21/2023 around closing it would have done our company a great deal of good if you simply would have said hello. The other customer that walked out with me felt the same and this is why I’m leaving this review. I rather drive across town then have such poor customer service with so much attitude.

The ladies at the register really need to get off their high horse. At the end of the day. Your serving licensed professionals. No need to be rude to customers.

I've come to this location off and on for a few years but I try to avoid it if possible. This particular day it was more convenient for me to stop in for a return. I had my receipt and made sure what I needed to return was returnable before I set foot into this location because the staff tends to give you a hard time with returns. Part of the problem here is the power trip. It's not enough that you're prepared for the transaction. The staff starts asking questions with the kind of tone that you can tell, they don't wanna help you. The more answers that you have that gives them an indication that they may have to actually work irritates them more. So they try to throw other things at you to deter you from asking them to go above just ringing up product. For me the first thing was the receipt. I had it. The second was how long had it been from purchasing to me returning. I was well within that time frame. I proceeded to help open items to show they are still sealed and unused. What do they do? Go to TDLR to check my license to see if it's expired. I show them the receipt of my current license and they STILL needed to call another location, not their headquarters but the location where I initially purchased to ask them if they can return these items because I don't have a license. Meanwhile customers are listening to them going back and forth about how they can't return the items and how I shouldn't have been able to buy product with an expired license. I repeatedly told them I had a license that is paid for and up to date. I showed them the website this time. As I'm doing this, the older lady Anna smiles and hangs up after being told, as long as I had the receipt I could return the product. Her coworker, continued to make faces while having to go through with the return. I called their headquarters to let them know but they never answered. This location is always in a mood. I won't ever be going back there because it seems like the mentality of people thinking they have the right to make "policy changes" because they like/dislike you is super old school and against best practices for business yet this lady is always making these kinds of calls, this is not the first time I've had to experience this immature approach.
