I hate having to come to this store. It’s the only Armstrong’s that NEVER has the pricing up. I feel so bad for the employee having to check pricing for every item and it’s because the owner doesn’t want to get them the tags to put up because prices change often. That’s called merchandising and you need to staff people to have the tags changed out as the pricing changes!

Really wish the lady with the blonde/highlighted pixie cut wouldn’t lick her fingers every time she touches something, I have to Lysol all of my products/purchases every time I shop at this location. It’s just gross knowing her saliva is all over the bags and anything you purchase there. Otherwise the store is super clean and well kept, everyone including the licking lady is helpful and friendly.

I love this store. The customer service is top notch. They greet you as soon as you walk in and make sure you can find what you need. They have helped me countless times on price checking and even went out of their way to let me know a product i was already purchasing had a duo deal. I will always use this location because its always been such a beautiful experience!

Walked in 4/25/2022 and realized I made the wrong decision to come in. This was truly an uncomfortable experience I have ever been.I was greeted and followed by the short hair blonde lady. She truly made me feel uncomfortable by following my friend and I—granted I was looking for hair products. I grabbed what I needed and the same lady said I can hold all of that for you in a persistent and eager way. They continued to watch my friend and I like hawks. On the other hand, another customer came in and they both did not approach her in a condescending way like they did with us. Next, both ladies questioned if I was even licensed or was aware of what this store is. Which in fact, I do know since I have shopped at other Armstrong McCalls and I am licensed as well. The brunette lady said I was not in their system and asked what I was even doing on this side of town—she made it seem like it was a crime to be here. They both continued to ask me questions as if I was under investigation. I realized they both racially profiled my friend and I. (we are Hispanic) The brunette lady would absolutely not make eye contact with my friend at all and was in disgust. She didn’t even want to check us out but, just stood there bagging the products I wanted in such distraught.Moving forward, they said they are a franchise to the other Armstrong McCalls and asked for my license along with my information. (I wasn’t aware they were) I did question why they needed so much information. At other locations its the usual basic information they need—since I am already a member. I did let them know I was in the system which they did say I was not. After I checked out I grabbed my receipt, products, and got out of there as soon as I can. Granted I was truly upset and still kindly thanked them. I truly believe they both wanted me to react aggressively or give attitude… I called another Armstrong McCall to confirm if I was in there system and they did say I was (super weird these two ladies here said I was not?)Lastly, both Sheryl and Sharron (blonde hair, and brunette hair) racially profiled my friend and I—to my assumption they probably thought we both were “shop lifters” and etc. Definitely was not true at all due to the fact I stated earlier I have shopped at other Armstrong McCalls. That being said, I will never step foot into this store ever again. I am truly upset and still shocked from what I experienced here…

If you are a person of color do not come. You will be profiled by these 2 WHITE WOMEN (Sharron & Sheryl) I knew the minute my friend and I walked that we were gonna be treated different. Super uncomfortable. We live in San Antonio literally a Hispanic dominant so it was shocking to experience this type of mistreatment. We have shopped at other Armstrongs and never been questioned so hard if we shopped at this type of store. The ladies even asked what we’re doing on that side of town as if we don’t live in San Antonio even tho we mention it before when handling the not being in system bs. We are outraged and do find any of this okay!!!

I went in today for shampoo. From the moment I walked in, Sheryl was very welcoming and incredibly helpful. She went through numerous options with what would work best for my specific needs. It was a really great experience and I just really appreciated how comfortable she made me feel. Thank you, Sheryl!
