“I've been wanting to visit Spare Parts for quite a while and finally had a chance. This is thrifting at its finest. The items are all neatly organized and the prices are amazing, even compared to other stores with donated items. This was a fun trip for my kids because they could pick out items they were interested in such as sketchbooks and chalk pastels. I didn't have nearly enough time to look thoroughly but I still came away with some nice finds. I'll be sure to recommend this place to my crafty friends and return in the future.”
“I LOVE this place. Used to have to have to go all the way to Austin to get basic stuff. I have used their studio several times and their kilns. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and even bilingual lol! There’s a big catalog to choose from but sometimes I like to order online just to avoid buying everything on site. “It's been awhile since I've been to a Hobby Lobby and I was looking for a certain type of cloth basket to create a gift basket. I was positive I would find it at Hobby Lobby but sadly I didn't. Still a beautiful, clean store - that much didn't change but the basket section was much smaller. I know this is to be expected with so many of us buying on line but it's sad none the less. I have to add only one register open and a huge line. Lots of employees floating around but none we sent to open another register. Maybe none of them had the ability to run a register???”

“It's been ages since shopped for fabric and patterns. The store is old and feels run down, but the staff was very helpful and pleasant. I was shocked at prices for patterns, but it's been years since I bought any.

“I give this store 4 stars mostly for welcoming and friendly employees. My favorite employee there is Jo. She always says hi, super friendly, and goes beyond to try and help you to the best of her ability. I took a star away due to the messy aisles, especially the art supply section. It is always horribly in disarray beyond words. It's been that way for over a year or more. Other aisles are also in bad shape. I think the store should do a better job at making it a pleasant shopping experience and not have us hunt and sift thru products like we're in a thrift store. They can do better. I'll add photos in a bit.”
