I rent from the location very often but this time was extremely stressful! The clerk had an issue with my card not authorizing on their end but my cards were indeed charged, called Avis support and those representatives were no help what so ever. My cards had been pending for 7 full days, causing my cards to be maxed out for that long. It messed up my families vacation budget and we had some sad children. The next most devastating issue was that when the "manager" made me feel like I was being discriminated against when he said to me "find you some more credit and we will rent you a car" I felt like because since the whole ordeal, frustration was already high due to my card being charged and I still hadn't received a vehicle. (Which was reserved a month in advance). The sarcasm from John was ridiculous and to add his wife was behind the desk agitating the situation. He is usually an amazing clerk but his sarcasm was through the roof and to add the prejudice of his statement was very derogatory. (I had "the credit" but his clerk charged my cards and maxed them "but didn't authorize on my end") Therefore I had to use another credit card the next day to get the rental. I shouldn't have to feel this way or harassed by a wife of an employee who shouldn't even had been there. I told John that he is my favorite but I didn't appreciate the sarcasm because he is a great employee but I definitely am not comfortable going there any longer with that discriminatory statement. I even dropped the keys in the drop box because I didn't want to see any of the employees. This isn't fair to me either because it is convenient to my home I shouldn't have to pay the price of any prejudice statements or comfort levels from anyone. My anxiety and my husbands who is a veteran kind of caused us a set back which again isn't ethical.

The person at the counter is always very helpful and friendly. Service is always fast and it’s easy for car pickup.

I always have a good experience and they help with find a car that is more accommodating if it is available. I rent at this location often and is easy to rent and drop off.

I had decent experience until drop off. I received fuel surcharge even though I refueled, washed, then dropped off. I had additional $19.73 fuel surcharge for fuel reading of 14.5 out of 14.9 reading when only visible fuel level was full. Hidden additional surcharges make you doubt it's reputation.

Where do I begin.. I rented the vehicle online and to speed up the process, I paid for it ahead of time. I went in the next morning for pick up. The representative, Rebecca, asked for my card that I used to purchase it. I handed it to her. She tried swiping it once. She then proceeded to tell me that she needed the card I used to make the purchase. I told/showed her that was the card. Even showing her the withdrawal from my account didn’t convince her. She continued to tell me how she wouldn’t allow me to rent the vehicle because it was the wrong card, when it wasn’t. They had already taken my money from my account. How did that make sense!!?!? She kept saying that it wasn’t the right card, when I was the one who used/knew what card it was. I told her that she should try running the card again because that was the card I used. She was adamant that I was wrong. After wasted time, she said she would try again. It worked!!! The next problem was that it charged me again, so I was doubled charged. I was so frustrated. I left with the car and dealt with that issue when I got back from my trip. That rep, Rebecca, was so unprofessional, lacked any desire to provide customer service, and seemed unaware of Avis policies. I’ll never go back to that place. The one star is for the rep who was there for the return of the vehicle. If I could leave it with no stars, I would’ve.

Long story short, no inspection of vehicle with me at time of rental. 5+ day rental, but day1 car needed oil change. Was going to put 3400+ miles on car. Called and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Eventually called emergency roadside number and was treated like I was a problem. Interrupted while trying to explain situation and was told to get to the point! Solution offered was I could take my time and spend my money to get an oil change… then go through the hassle, providing a lot of information in an email to hope for reimbursement - my time, however, wouldn’t be compensated. Additionally, it was out of washer fluid. Upon returning the car, the attendant told me that these issues didn’t matter because the car had a recall and couldn’t be rented out again! RECALL?!? Safety? Mechanical? Could I have been stranded on the side of the road? Did I put me and my family in jeopardy? We drove over 3400 miles …. This is not acceptable to me!

Cars here are in sub par condition. I had it experienced both times I rented from here. On the second occasion, they gave me a Toyota RAV with some mechanical issue. It stated making weird noise and started wobbling within 5 minutes of driving. Took the car back and Rebecca at the desk tells me that any exchanges have to be done at the airport location. She had 8 other vehicles onsite and didn't bother to exchange it and she had the argued with me indicating all their cars are checked before renting them. I asked her to check it herself and her excuse was she cannot leave the counter. I paid twice the rental charge (than airport location) here for its proximity to where I live. Awful customer service!!

Cars here are always dirty where you use wipes and they end up black when wiping down the areas commonly use as a driver. Also, even though you made your reservation, but when you arrive, they change your price and this even if you've been a regular customer. I tried to reach out to the manager and he does not even return your call due to this concerns as the person at the front can't seem to know how to explain and or try to see how she can fox the issue and or look at your history to get the information needed.This place is my last place to pick if urgent , if I'll be OK cleaning the inside and don't care about driving a dirty car. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Let me start by saying this Avis location is the BEST to rent from. LOGAN IS AMAZING!! Thank you Logan for always having a great attitude and giving amazing customer service. I have rented many cars from many different companies and this location sets the standards of how customers should be treated. Logan always has a smile on his face and goes above and beyond for his guests. Never let go of Logan, he's the best!
