Be very careful with this so-called credit union. There is no link to contact account fraud, and the address on google maps shows a strip of small businesses, none of which say BCU credit union. I've had someone attempt to open an account in my name. When I search the phone number they gave, it brings up some scam alert in Tennessee. Several things do not add up to a real business for this BCU. Be Careful!

This credit union stole my money. Please do not bank with them. I funded my account and when I called to check the status of my debit card I was informed the account had been closed. They were not sure if I qualified for a membership. Instead of refunding my deposits to the original form of payment or sending out a check, they decided to send the money to the state instead. Smh this credit union is the WORST! SCAMMERS SCAMMERS!Update: 12/21/23 It took me writing this review for someone to do the right thing. BCU contacted me and said they are sending me a check out for my deposit. Will receive in 7-10 business days. Thank you for making this right!

My friend open the account without looking at the review. And it’s time for her to take her to transfer her money so she could use it to get into her new apartment and she can’t. She move all her things out of her last apartment in hopes to get into her new place using the money she deposited into this account and now she can retrieve her money. Also they are giving her the run around. She is stressed, she is loosing sleep, she has a son that need caring for and yet this bank is playing with her.

Do not get an account with this bank, this bank provides horrible service and will lie to you and will not help you when they cause a problem to your account..I tried to transfer my own money to one of my other accounts and they put my account on hold, leaving me with no money for days and its been now and still I have not received my money back into my account..When i made the transfer my account got put on hold saying they need to verify availability when a deposit was posted in my account already..I have all the documentation and I'm going to take these reviews to court and sue this bank for the horrible people they are and the horrible services they provide..to the people who are having these problems I'm going to try to bring some justice for us..This bank is horrible and im going to do my best to show all this information and wrong doing to the government and state....bare with me it's in progress..if you are reading this look at the rating it's bad for a reason..do not open account with bank you will be sorry..

Horrible experience, I tried to transfer money in Zelle through their app and it flagged it. They locked me out of my account and I couldn't use my debit card. Called several times to get it resolved and they told me that nothing could be done. I ended up calling to close my account and they informed me I no longer had a account with them. They had closed it a week ago. At this point I'm just hoping they send a check for what was in my account.

If I can rate lower I will the worst online bank ever the cons out weigh the pros never answer disconnect call while talking customer service is terrible I wish I can give them zero stars.

This bank is not it, had a transaction done through apple for a merchant. And they’ll believe the “grenedot bank” over me who has proof of a time stamp of a second transaction gone through for the same exact amount at the same time! Going back to chase !

This bank is trash. The only good thing is I get paid early and they can’t even get that right. They deny every loan/ card application I submit, no ATMs to deposit cash and customer service is a joke. I’m definitely pulling.

Only thing good about this credit union is getting paid early. Other than that, the workers are rude and incompetent. The reps I spoke with acted as if I was bothering them and they didn’t want to be there. There’s an unauthorized charge on my debit card and in order for them to fix the issue, they have to shut the card down. Well that’s an inconvenience due to me being out of town. I stated I’ll call back on Monday. I was then told any other unauthorized charges, I could be responsible for.. How sway!? As soon as this is taking care of, I will be closing all accounts with them. Horrible nonchalant workers at its finest!

Closing my account the atm took my money I filed a dispute and they said I lost the dispute so I lost my money that I work for. It wasn’t even my mistake and lost out on my bill money ridiculous!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would.This bank is no different thank any other online bank. They keep having “outages” or GLITCHES but they avoid using that word. They do not inform you that they are having issues- and do not inform you after the fact! I’ve had 3 transactions that were screwed up because of this “outage”, & now I have to go through a whole dispute process taking anywhere from 10 to 90 days. I’m afraid to even use my debit card at all at this point but this is the only account I have with direct deposit. As soon as these transactions are credited back to my account- IF THEY ARE AT ALL! I am closing the account. Makes sure you read all reviews before opening an account with BCU and enter at your own risk

customer service is horrible.. no ownership what so ever & they transfer, transfer and transfer away, did i mention, they transfer yet again 4 resolution!! atrocious BCU, worst mistake ever coming 2 this credit union!! all is great until u have a problem, thats cuz o switched over 2 auto laons & 2 credit cards & savings!!! 20+ calls in the last 2 months and yet problem keeps getting worse!!
