I never sleep well in hotels. I was shocked that I was able to sleep and wake up feeling refreshed each morning.The staff were chatty and pleasant. They welcomed me each time I walked in and wished me a good day when I left.I highly recommend this hotel!The only issue I had, which I never got around to telling the staff, was the shower. I never could figure out how to find a reasonable temperature. It was really hot or blazing hot. I love a hot shower but that was intense.

For $70 a night, with breakfast, you really can't complain. It's a decent hotel, well located, and excellent staff. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. The only complaints I have is their elevator. It's dirty and smells like cigarettes ?. The breakfast was decent, I would simply like to suggest not to make the eggs so runny. The eggs were swimming in water. Other than that, I really enjoyed our stay, plus check-out time is noon. That's a plus for me. I would definitely come back.

This is a very basic hotel for the price point. We stayed in a King bed room. It was simple, yet good for the price point. There are some amenities in the room that appeared retrofitted. The closet had a portable organizer to hang your clothes, but it was flimsy - like something bought at a discount store quality-wise. It moved a lot and it was hard to get the luggage rack and iron & ironing board out. It would be better to have a closet rod installed going across the top with a shelf (which is what I am used to using) as this will allow more room. The rack took up about 25% of the space on the sides. There was no where to put items on top. The bathroom had a particle board table with plastic legs (it looked out of place). The lighting is all white fluorescent bulbs (bathroom, entry, room) so it looked more clinical than indoor. Perhaps install soft white bulbs? The TV had basic cable but no way to access Netflix or paid programming like Max or Hulu.****be aware that this hotel charges a $100 incidentals deposit that takes 7-10 BUSINESS days for a refund for any unused $**** This was a definite minus as I don't have that type of expendable money to put aside for 7-10 business days. They had a sign to this effect on the counter emphasizing all of this.

Honestly one of the nicest Best Westerns we've ever stayed at. The King Suite was a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable room. Owner and manager were super nice. And the girls working the desk, Alaska, Star, and Kay ; were top notch. Very friendly, attentive, and helpful with restaurants and shortcuts to get back to the hotel. Our next San Antonio stay will be here. Only one negative. Please start serving bacon at breakfast LOL.Rooms: The King Suite was very clean, and spacious. Great walk-in shower.Nearby activities: Plenty of great restaurants within 2 - 3 miles of the hotel.Safety: Situated in a nice area of San Antonio set back away from the freeway and frontage road. So there was no traffic noise annoyance. Hotel surrounded by a nice neighborhood.Food & drinks: They serve a great hot breakfast. Coffee is available 24-7 as are the juices from the dining room dispenser. They don't turn it off after breakfast like some hotels do. Not serving bacon at breakfast was the only negative we could find.Noteworthy details: The owner was always in and out and attentive to guests. She and the manager both were very friendly and open to suggestions. Alaska, Star, and Kay at the desk have great people business personalities. And the housekeeping staff were very friendly and always helpful. We have finally found our permanent San Antonio hotel.

I made a reservation with an option to pay when you stay. I arrived to San Antonio from Utah, 1400 miles away, I arrived around noon, I walked to the front desk and asked the lady who was there, can I take a look at the room to make sure it’s clean as we had an unpleasant experience earlier and I have my mother with me who is sick, therefore I would like to see the room first, and since I only reserved without paying up front, I wanted to check the room first. The lady at the front desk said that if I check the room then it’s mine, she also said that I can’t check the room and leave, and If I do cancel, she will still charge me the first night. I said is that on the hotel policy that if I check the room then I have to take it? She said, it’s her policy. Then I said that I am a customer and that I feel that she is making an issue for no reason. So I said then I would like to cancel, she said she will still charge me. So I said I shouldn’t be charged for something I didn’t receive. The whole situation seemed to be that the front desk lady just didn’t like me, maybe my skin color I don’t know. But I told her that I will get the refund a different way since I didn’t stay and it’s not fair. The lady was having a very unpleasant attitude, someone who is at a hotel from desk who doesn’t have the understanding of how to handle a customer, she was rude, unfortunately, and it’s very sad. Business matters should not be influenced by race, look or anything personal. I am very unhappy with this experience and wanted to share that so other customers like I have an expectation when they plan their stay. Another reason is, hoping that someone responsible at that hotel can investigate this and maybe offer additional training to that person or find another option. She said she is the manager, and if this is the case, then there is something seriously wrong. I hope that my opinion can be heard and proactive measures of improvement can take place.

This is a hotel in a great location. The breakfast was quite good and the coffee was surpisingly really good as well. The man on the front desk working Sunday morning on 10/15/23 helped me fix the lock to my door. He was really nice and professional and got it done quicklyFood & drinks: For hotel food it was pretty good and the coffee was in my opinion really good.Noteworthy details: The front desk workers are very helpful and nice

Kandie is amazing and so welcoming and friendly. I LOVE her upbeat attitude and welcoming nature. Always seeing a friendly face at the front desk when you walk by makes the stay so much more pleasant. Keep up the GREAT work Kandie!

Wouldn't recommend staying here, we drove from Dallas for a wedding we got there 30 mins early before check in so we asked if they'd let us check in early the young man upfront who you couldn't hear clearly when he spoke had attitude with us, when we asked. We came back at 3 to check in we were never informed about the 100 dollar deposit and neither were 3 other families, the man kept arguing with us saying it's in their policy, he was horrible to us and my wife refused to talk to him. Once we payed the 100 dollars for the deposit we went to our room and found mold in the bathroom, once we checked out on Sunday the young man again was extremely rude to us and was just horrible. If you want a nice hotel this isn't it, don't waste a extra 100 dollars for a deposit go somewhere nice.

This is a decent hotel in a good location, just a little ways off from the freeway. Smells nice, and is pretty clean. They have an actual hot breakfast included which was really nice. The only negatives were room specific----it could have been a bit cleaner, and the little table to use in the little sitting area was clearly broken and unusable, but was left there by the sitting chair. Even so, I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is off out of the way of road noise. Quiet is nice. Clean is better. Hot and cold breakfasts. Have not had a bad experience here. Stays=8.Noteworthy details: Outdoor pool.

If you are a person of color DO NOT STAY HERE. They do not want you here and will make it clear cut. Will call the police before they refund you your money. The worst stay I have ever encounter in my 30 years staying in hotel. This is by far the worst hotel and worst service. I wouldn't even give it 1 star. Look else where. Also, don't book via 3rd party. Will make it harder to talk to someone in charge.
