Nice! Classic architecture. Comfortable rooms. Our room was spacious, but it had a sliding door for the bathroom. I don’t think that’s a common situation for other rooms.

Be prepared to pay $40 a day to park. Customer service is horrible.

Paid $40 per night for 2 nights for parking. Breakfast $15 per person additional. Tiny tiny room but with a nice view on the 7th floor which had stairs. Restaurants in area close at 7 or have a fancy dress code or you eat Indian food from restaurant downstairs. Employees in said Indian restaurant do not get to keep their tips.

The location is prime considering it’s downtown a couple of blocks to the Riverwalk, 2 blocks from The Alamo. Convenient store like Walgreens nearby and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Checking in was very easy, and quick. I’m an athlete traveling with 2 bikes. There is no area dedicated to storing bikes but after inquiring with the front desk they allowed me to store my bikes in a conference room. Thank you very much for allowing me to do so as accessing them was very easy.
The employees working the front desk were attentive and very helpful throughout my stay. Checked in within 5 minutes, headed up to the room. The room was clean, love the walk in shower. Fitness room is nice, the pool is comically small. Maybe get rid of the pool for a jacuzzi and cold plunge or extend the fitness room?
My only con was the $40 per day parking. Self parking unlimited come and go, but I suppose the price is appropriate for the location?
All in all was a very good stay, thank you looking forward to coming back.

The hotel was older, and that was a plus for us. Our room was very large and easily accessed. This was important to us because we had 4 women traveling together, and 2 had mobility issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was quieter than if we had been right on the Riverwalk. We will stay here again.

This place is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!! The rooms are so nice and comfy to sleep in. They even have a fridge in there and microwave it’s very nice. The restaurant in the hotel is to die for!!!! The food is amazing!!!! The lunch we had was a curry and that was absolutely fantastic. I had to come back and try it again!! And the breakfast I got a waffle and it literally was in the shape of Texas!!! This is one of the best places I’ve stayed out and will definitely be back asap!!

Was nice and comfortable but the room seemed bigger than the one we received. It needed a few minor repairs that could lead to extra charges for guest, such as the shower door didn't close properly which caused water to leak on the floor and outside of the bathroom entry door.

Great price for an amazing location. Literally a 2-3 minute walk from the riverwalk. We left our car at St. Mary’s Garage instead of the offered parking lot since there were some reviews about cars being broken into but it was $5 for 24 hours so not bad at all and every safe from what we could tell/what we heard. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

I stayed here because I love staying at Best Western hotels. This was NOT a typical best Western. The building is older, the lobby is small but seems updated. The pool is very small and not updated. The rooms were tiny, but clean.
The worst part was that it was so loud. The building faces Broadway, and our room was the fourth floor, street side. We stayed Saturday -Tuesday, and every night there was so much sound at night time. Sirens. Car engines. Car stereos. Exhaust noises. Horns. Seriously, frequency and volume was unbelievable. I think the outside noise was loud because the windows were single-pane and didn't indicate the room from any outside sound. Our room also happened to be near the elevator, so also constant dinging sounds from there.
Breakfast is also not included in the hotel stay. Most of the time, Best Western Brand hotels include breakfast. When we checked in, the gentleman told us breakfast was $15 per plate. The Guest Directory in the room said $9.99 per person. I'm not sure about that discrepancy. I'm not even sure where breakfast would have been served at because there wasn't a dining area. It may have been at the attached restaurant, Delicious.
All in all, I just wasn't impressed by this Best Western. It seemed individually owned, not the reliability of the normal Best Western hotels that I'm used to.

I would give 0 stars if I had the chance. We paid good money for this hotel just for our room to be infested with roaches! When we talked to the front desk about the situation there was barely even an apology or any type of accommodation, just free parking. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The staff was amazing & the rooms were very clean. My kids enjoyed going swimming in the pool that was also very clean! We will definitely be visiting again.

Wanted my family to enjoy the city. It was a great experience. The view was nice and the restaurant down below open the door to try something new.
All the rooms smell fresh, clean sheets and modern plugs. A family of 6. This was a great experience
Walkability: Everything in walking distance. Put on your good shoes.
Food & drinks: Try the delicious restaurant.
Noteworthy details: The pool was nice & clean. We were fortunate to have it to ourselves.
