Just wanted to say that we had a great experience… the hotel location was great, you can walk just about anywhere…. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean and had a cool vibe…. ( little noisy on the street side, but not bad)…. My biggest compliment …is the staff… from the awesome valet guys, to the front desk and even the cafe folks…. Really great people …. Especially when I got home 3 hours away and realized I left something very important in my room… I called the hotel… spoke to RJ and explained it and he called his house manager..( I didn’t catch her name) and she drove back after she had already left for the day, went to my room and located the item and took it to the hotel safe for safe keeping until it was picked up….. they all were SUPER nice and helpful… just wanted to say thank you again! We will definitely be back!

Great hotel. Clean, contemporary, great service, close walk to the Riverwalk. My one gripe is the street noises. Since this is a historical building, the windows seem to be original too and they are single pane and thin. So if you're in a room facing the main road and freeway you'll get ton of a noise. Definitely recommend, but would say to bring some ear plugs.

Upon checking in for our Anniversary getaway into what was supposed to be a King Suite, we opened the door to two double queens with a connecting door. We returned to the concierge desk where the staff said "Uh oh what happened?" knowing full well what happened since he forgot to mention the room we booked a week in advance, they had given away. He proceeded to tell us "There is something wrong with the King bed you booked" and then added that there was nothing he could do to comp us in any way. He gave us "complimentary breakfast" which consisted of one item and one drink - a total joke if you want to call that complimentary breakfast, and told us that management would be there first thing the next day and that we may have better luck solving the issue with them. As the next morning rolled around, SURPRISE management doesn't work on the weekends. We are very upset with the lack of problem solving abilities this hotel has and not to mention the complete lack of customer service they are "able" to offer. Again, we booked a King suite and paid in full for a King size suite for our Anniversary, and were given two queen doubles with a connecting door and were told there was nothing they could do about it - and they did NOTHING about it. Not to mention, the bridal party we met in the lobby suffered from the same issues. They had several rooms booked for a bridal party months in advance and they didn't get the rooms they booked either. Spare yourself and don't book with the Aiden. It's a joke to say the least. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Rooms: Over $200 a night and no microwaves or room services. It’s literally a standard best western with a fancy lobby, nothing special.
Rooms were clean. It’s very noisy - right by the highway. Cute coffee bar area, and thee coffee was good, but they only use milk as a creamer-whole, almond, etc. Their bar does not open until 4, even on the weekends. Big loss of money when you have a huge wedding party staying. It was just ok…but not great.

I so wanted to love this place, the hotel is actually very cool but unfortunately the lack of service overshadows anything aesthetic. The receptionist at front desk was rude and had no business in the hospitality field. She worked twice as hard to make every step difficult. The valet guys are lazy and disrespectful, wearing sunglasses at night should tell you all you need to know about that. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the speakeasy was delightful and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the service was horrendous! It’s very loud at night because of street racers.
Nearby activities: Walking distance to Alamodome and river walk
Food and drinks: Food was awesome though limited

Wouldn’t trust food coming from this kitchen 🤣 , if your into the vaping weed in kitchens by all means just seems a little to unprofessional and unclean for a hotel to operate but what do I know 🤷♂️ Rj was great and the housekeeping staff for upkeeping .

decent hotel, the name Riverwalk in the title is misleading. The hotel is located about four blocks from the Riverwalk. I guess it can be considered Riverwalk area.
The road is decent all the normal amenities, including a small refrigerator. I wish Rome had a small microwave.
Hotel does not have a pool .
Parking is mandatory valet as of October 24 $30 a night.
Rooms: very nice room. hotel is old but it’s been renovated with a look and modern feel.
Nearby activities: The river walk and alamo
Safety: Comfortably feel safe as i would anywhere else.
Walkability: about 4 blocks away from the actual riverwalk. The name Riverwalk in its title is misleading.

First time staying at the Aiden San Antonio hotel. The location was perfect as it is close to downtown San Antonio. A huge issue though, especially if you’re a light sleeper is the amount of traffic heard! The traffic doesn’t die down until about 2am and starts back up at 530am. It’s very difficult to sleep especially being a light sleeper.
The inside of the hotel was great! The lobby area is fantastic and attached to a bar. The bar is a bit expensive but it’s a great way to socialize. Upon entering my room, it was clean and organized. The AC was set to 67 degrees which was awesome! The bathroom/shower area is a bit smaller and crammed as the door nearly touches the toilet upon closing. During my stay I had zero issues with hot water. There isn’t a microwave in the room, which is a bummer as you have to go down to the lobby to use.
The beds were comfortable however the pillows themselves were tiny. It was difficult to get the pillows in an area to which I was fully comfortable and able to sleep.
Over it was a good experience minus the traffic nose. If you don’t mind the traffic, you should definitely try this place out. Disclaimer they do have self parking for a fee and valet for a fee.

The hotel is nice and clean. The area is very close to the Riverwalk. The parking is $30 and appears mandatory. There were two staff upon arrival, two guests checked in at the same time. The woman staff was very friendly and provided a list of amenities the hotel offered. She went over the bar, pool and locking of the doors hours. The other employee just provided the key with no details. This did not feel welcoming as the other guest received a better service.

The hotel is nicely updated. The rooms are modern and spacious with nice walk in showers. The downside is the location and the parking! As a paid resident, one would think parking is included or at least a second option. The black guy with long dread locks said that this is the only option. So I had to get everything from my car since I had no clue where it would be parked. Each time I needed something, I had to contact a service that alerted the valet guys to retrieve my car! That is absolutely crazy! The front desk associate was nice-nasty. He had a comeback for every single comment we made, but he wrapped it in a fake customer service phone voice as if we couldn’t smell the rude coming from his mouth. Also, the poor signal strength didn’t allow for a comfortable movie watching experience. The mini fridge didn’t work. I had to physically pull it out of the cabinet where it was store to plug it in next to the coffee pot to get power. I kid you not!! If you’re not flying in and using Uber to get around, GO ELSEWHERE! Also, there are zero places to eat nearby, but plenty of crackheads tweaking on sidewalks! I also called the front desk several times from my phone and the room phone-NO ANSWER! Stay away! I cannot wait until this stay is over!

Very bad experience. We asked for a triple room and were given only one bed, and we had to make the sofa bed. They put a small soap in there and then took it away.
Nearby activities: Very close to the river and shops.

We only stayed here for less than 12 hours and won’t be back. Checked in at 12 am and checked out at 10 am. There was hair in the shower and left dirty from previous guest. They force valet down your throat even though we were there for less than 12 hours, once again. I called because they charged me an extra charge on top of valet which I did not want to purchase in the first place but the attendant decided to argue with me and the front desk worker that helped me over the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. Unfortunately I have never had a poor hotel stay so I will deter all family and friends from dealing with this place.

It was very nice, it has a modern vibe, we just stayed one night and everything was fine. The service could be better, the only thing is that they asked for a $30 deposit, I charged it to my credit card and a month later they haven’t returned me the money, it is still “processing” and i have communicated with them and I haven’t received any answer.
