Awful company and towing partners. Workers at facility are depressing and sad to work with. Unhelpful at best, rude and obnoxious as worst. Bexar towing driver cussed me out while on duty and threatened me. Their reporting system didn’t do anything (email) and you can’t report them anywhere else, imagine that. BBB rating of F-
They will pretend they have nothing to do with the tow companies they contract but that’s a lie.
A reminder to anyone picking up, inspect your vehicle BEFORE signing paperwork. In the paperwork they try to get you to waive all rights to sue them, another legally dubious plot.
They’ve been dragged to court before and this won’t be the last. For apartments or businesses looking to contract with them, look elsewhere.

Bexar Towing Prays on Human Error! Must be perfect to avoid this shady company waiting on people to put the wrong time at a parking lot.
Bexar has a team of several that sit and wait, praying on the week. A tow person camped out to grab our car with 20min over our 2hrs! Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Wife is pregnant and we got drug around town because of Bexar’s evil company. Could you imagine taking advantage of humans accidentally not putting the perfect amount of time on the card. We put 2 hours then came out of a movie at 2 hours and 18minutes. Our car had already been towed. Whoever runs this parking lot must be sad taking advantage of the weak & accidental error.

If I could this business would get 0 stars. I was towed in the middle of the night on August 26 from my apartment complex because I was parked illegally, my fault. I wake up the next morning to my car gone, and it was apparent it had been dragged out of the parking space, evident by heavy tire markings. Fast forward to today. My car is sitting in a repair shop needing a fuel pump and tank. Mind you, I was gone to Europe the entire month of September and no one has used this vehicle. I have driven this car less than 15 miles since I've been home. The repair shop told me I must have hit something hard to damage the fuel components. I hit nothing. The towing company is responsible for this damage to the tune of $3100. Don't use this company!!!!!

This place is apparently well known locally to be predatory. Multiple Facebook and Reddit groups dedicated to “victims of brexar towing”.

These people are printing money over here they towed our truck for no reason we had 10 minutes left on our timer. When we called they said we were double parked. The parking lot was 10% full. On the receipt on the toll stated that we were unpaid on time . They deserve zero stars .

Great staff, fast and friendly. Towed my truck to a safe place and off the public roadway after a wreck so it wouldn't get vandalized or stolen. GREAT SERVICE.
I see a LOT of the reviews in here are not even for this company. They are referring to some other company that does private property towaways.

1. Towing Charge: I was charged for 2 hours of heavy-duty towing at $350/hour. The drive from the pickup location to the storage facility is about 30 minutes, so I understand there may be some time required for hooking up, but I don’t understand where the full 2 hours of labor came from.
2. Storage Charge: According to the documents you provided, my trailer was picked up at 11:30 PM and I retrieved it at 12:00 PM the next day. However, I was charged for 2 full days of storage — could you clarify why?
3. Trailer Damage: The trailer’s front leg and lifting mechanism are now completely bent and broken, making it impossible to lift and hook up to my truck. This damage occurred during the tow/storage process.
4. Additional Costs: I was informed that I need to hire a heavy-duty hauler to remove my trailer from the lot, but since none are available on your end, I have to arrange and pay for one myself.

My friends car was towed illegally . They are nothing but a dishonest money grab company. Stay away from them. They’re bullies.

Fortunately for me I was not the person being towed. Just an apartment resident at The Maxwell who believes these towing companies are thieves who get away with way too much. Nor have I ever met a tow truck driver in my personal life who isn’t just as scummy even when they aren’t on the clock. So why not police these parking lot police wannabes.
Last night I witnessed a “driver” from Bexar Towing lift a Dodge Charger, a rear wheel drive vehicle, by the front axle, and proceed to drag it out of the spot it was parked in. Only stopping here and there to reposition and drag it out more in order to refrain from hitting my car parked next to it. Finally after dragging the parked Charger out on its drivetrain tires far enough and even turning the vehicle on them.
So that’s what? The tires, transmission, converter, and now the alignment at risk too?
He finally repositioned himself to grab the vehicle correctly BY the rear axle, and drove away.
Points for finishing the job correctly, but they make things like skates, flat bed tow trucks. Hell, even lubricants. For this exact kind of scenario, and in order to avoid damaging your victims property. Honestly I could care less if they didn’t pay for parking, it still gives you no right to purposely do wrong and risk damaging a vehicle that isn’t yours. Guess it’s good for business, because when the car they just stole and ruined, breaks down on the way back home they get to shake em down again for more money. It’s a hell of a business strategy.
Shame on Bexar Towing. And on The Maxwell apartments for hiring such thugs. There’s a serious lack of professionalism, courtesy, and respect, and for what? So you don’t run the risk of the owner of the vehicle you’re destroying witnessing it?
Moral of the story is, that if you happen to become the next victim of one of these bottom feeders. Do yourself a favor and check EVERYTHING before you drive off of that lot or sign anything to do with vehicle conditions.
Inspect the outside. Get under it. Check your tires for flat spots or marks. And if it feels like it acting funny, it is. Courtesy of Bexar Towing.
Gotta keep these vandals accountable🤷🏻♂️

Bad attitude, evil people snatched my car when I was bleededing on the ground with a concussion. And my car was blocked in at the yard and it took 30 minutes to get out.

Threaten to tow without actually running plates to see if registration is actually expired!

I've noticed these folks at my apartment complex as of late. They're looking for cars that aren't up to date on registration. Just saw them tow a vehicle out today.
Further research shows that they have a history that's sketchy and they aren't up to any good.
