On 07/28/2023, our family drove a long way (273 mi.) to celebrate our daughter's 20th birthday, at Big Lou's Pizza, in San Antonio. Best choice we could have made. Our server, Zak L., was really attentive and one hell of a nice guy! One needs to experience this pizzeria for themselves. Just remember, you will not, be disappointed.Parking: The parking lot was big enough to hold any crowd. It was safe, secure and room enough to open your car doors without hitting the car next to you.

Service was really slow. We had to wait to order drinks. Drinks took forever. Ordering our food took forever. Food was great. Service sucked.

Came here for a birthday. There were a lot of people and had to move outside. The tables were caked on with dirt and haven't been cleaned in a while. The service was good, but it didn't seem like there was enough help. The wings were better than the pizza, but the pizza wasn't that bad either. Had to go to the bar to order sodas and other drinks but had to wait for the tender to come to the bar.

It isn’t often that I try food in San Antonio that I will literally dream about later but this place definitely fits my past time ? ? We didnt realize how big a 20” pizza would be, it seems every pizza place has a different method of measurement ?? But this pizza we almost ate with just the two of us could definitely feed up to 5 people. Also tried the boneless wings - their wings were mid to be honest. The sauces don’t hit. :( Not a big deal to me though because we didn’t come for the wings, we came for the “legendary pizza”. ? Definitely enjoyed the carb load, and will be back again in the future for sure. ?Parking: Large parking lot, parking is free!Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly - lots of families here on Sunday.Wheelchair accessibility: The front has double doors that you have to manually open, so not access friendly on that front, but getting to the front of the building and going around inside should be easy. Bathroom hall is narrowish though.
