Just got my gray tinted today and bang trim! No matter what i have done (cut,style) Katie is the best!! Superb job everrytime! Also the sweetest gal around! Thanks Katie.

I was desperately needing a haircut and I stumbled upon this gem of a salon and couldn't be happier! The laid-back and chill vibe immediately put me at ease, making my salon experience truly relaxing. Erica, my stylist, was not only incredibly skilled but also super friendly. She gave me an awesome styling tip that I've already tried at home and it's giving my hair the look I've been wanting for years!

I love Bixa Hair Studio because the stylists take their time to listen and make adjustments in a way that works with you; I've always left feeling like I got exactly what I wanted or even had my expectations exceeded, even if I walked in not quite sure of my vision. I've scheduled with Katie and Erica for cut and style and love them both. They also use great quality (but not stupid expensive) products, but don't push for product sales or tips like other places. I love how long my hair cut "lasts" in softness and shape for ages. I'm one of those people that doesn't know much about how to ask for a style and that feels a bit stressed about it, but I always look forward to my appointments here because it takes the guesswork out of it. They're also just lovely people! Can't recommend them enough. Thanks so much and see you again soon

It was a great visit. I was wanting a new style that required minimal effort, minimal heat and minimal upkeep. Shelby gave me just that and more! She was super friendly and accommodating. She had great tips for styling hair without heat! I didn't even know that was possible. There was no pressure to purchase products at all. I've found my new stylist in San Antonio. Thanks Shelby! I'll be back for future cuts and to purchase some products, because they worked so well! :D

I brought my 16 year old daughter for her first haircut in a while and she loved it. Matthew gave her some great tips and was so friendly. We booked her next appointment before we left. The communication about upcoming appointments is also great. We received several text and email reminders.

I saw Erica for a full foilayage and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. The color turned out exactly how I was wanting, and had me leaving with so much confidence. She is extremely personable, and we had great conversations the entire time. I normally don’t talk too much at salons, but she was so friendly and funny and kept me engaged. I can’t forget that to mention that she is stunning and I loved her style. I’m only in the area visiting, but if I ever come back to San Antonio, I would ABSOLUTELY go back to her.

I went for a cut and blowout. I have curly hair and was looking for someone who could cut it correctly. Erica was not intimidated by my hair or what I wanted! The cut is the best I have had in a very long time! It looks fabulous no matter how I style it! 6 stars all around!!

I had a appointment with Erica and she was amazing. At first I was nervous because the last time I got my hair done at another place didn't come out the way I wanted but Erica did amazing she did my hair how I wanted and is sweet great conversation and the place is a great vibe I left so happy i definitely found my forever hair studio thanks Erica
