Used to be a great place to find unique, decently priced thift items but it's kinda changed now...they have broken junk and stained clothes they have expensively priced. Folks that work here are friendly ( most all are volunteers and prior service). The best thing is that all the money goes to support the kids at Boysville..If you see a Tall, grey haired older gentleman at the register. That's Dave, he earned a DFC flying over North Vietnam, be nice and tell him "hi" .... he's a great guy.

Pricing is confusing, inconsistent, and usually 75% higher than the item is actually worth. It’s disappointing to see a community thrift store with such inaccessible, out of touch prices. Miscellaneous, outdated kitchen appliances for $15+, faded framed photos for $30, $200 “as-is” coffee tables, swaths of fabric for $13 per yard, etc. Seriously? This stuff is used and donated! It should be priced accordingly.

Furniture for sale was not in the best condition, which is fine. It’s a thrift store. But then when I try to donate a dining table and chairs no damage, an exercise total gym, exercise gym and loveseat. I am told by the rude old unkept intake man that all my donations needed to be inspected to see if they ca accept them? My items are in way better condition than what they have on the sales floor. I had pictures of all the items. To me it seemed he was trying to discourage the pick up so he wouldn’t have to do his job. My other friend donated items and she said the younger intake guys were way nicer and eager to pick up the items. Poor customer service. Will not be going back

One of my go to thrift stores in San Antonio! They have a great selection of clothes, books, home goods, and even furniture. Everything is reasonably priced. Love shopping as well as donating here!

Such a hidden gem! Please donate here. All proceeds are done through this thrift store start to finish. Donations are processed here and sold here. There's no sending out and complications. You know where your items are going and it's to a great cause! Very clean and organized store with friendly volunteers and employees. Can't wait to go back.

Great secondhand shopping. Great prices, with many deals and savings, including daily deals and added discounts. Large variety of items, from clothing of all ages and sizes, to furniture, to housewares and appliances large and small, a book nook, and even a music and movies collection. You'll find pet supplies, toys for the kids, shoes for that hiking outing or shoes just because you like them and are at a great deal, gowns for the prom, and much more! Neat, clean, and well organized store, with friendly and helpful staff. So many decent and desirable items to shop for. They even hold a silent auction in-store! And best of all... every purchase goes to a great cause... they are 100% non-profit, and all proceeds support the children of Boysville, Inc. That alone should make you want to head down there. It'll be worth the visit. *And no, I am not employed by them, nor do I work there... I am just a proud, longtime shopper and supporter of the Boysville Auxiliary Thrift Store. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed. Or even stop by and drop off a donation at their convenient donation drop-off in the rear, with designated drop-off parking, where you won't even have to get out of your vehicle, the wonderful staff will come right out to your car with their carts and unload your items for you. And even give you a receipt if you require one.

Very impressed! I've tried to find a nice thrift store. This place was nice for clothes and jewelry. The furniture selection was good if you are looking for that. They have a parking lot. They even do discounts like 25% off shoes or furniture. Go check them out.

I've been shopping Boysville for years. As with any second store, their inventory is based on donations. There have been a few times when different departments didn't have much, but again, donations. I know this sounds like a commercial, but inventory changes by the hour and business days. It's a treasure hunt for me, and the people working the shop don't fret if you decide to put an item back. I don't always find something, but it's fun to look none the less. Anna

I came here after checking out Buffalo outlet and wish I came here sooner. I checked out some of the clothes and saw some good ones (mixed with a lot of clothes for older people). However, stand out for me was the book section. I found 10 (!!!) books that I wanted (and more I already owned), each $1 which is a steal (like Pachinko, Becoming, Art of Chasing Rain, etc). Highly recommend this thrift shop!
