We took our car here a little while ago because we were concerned about the brakes on the car we had just bought. They kept it for a day and when we came back, we were told "nothing is wrong. It's fine"
We then took it to Meineke on pat booker and had a LARGE amount of things wrong. I shouldn't have been able to drive it home that day.
-Brake master cylinder had to be completely replaced
-There was a leak and bleeding of brakes
-Our rear drum brakes were replaced
along with many more issues. About 4500 in work and an unsafe car. Do not reccomend going here if you want a safe, drivable car.

I can't say enough about this place!!!!! Eddie is so nice and kind and one of the most honest people I have ever met. I was hearing something making a thumping noise when I hit the brakes. I was so scared it was gonna cost me thousands to fix. I don't drive much at all and just couldn't really afford to take a financial hit. I set money back for 3 months. Today I took my car here to brake works and dropped it off on my lunch hour. Eddie found nothing wrong with the brakes or anything else. He said it just had some dust on them making it make that sound. He checked everything absolutely free and cleaned up the dust and test drove it. He charged me nothing. I was so shocked as that was so kind of him. I hope Glod blesses this man and all his staff. I just can't get over he didn't even charge to look at it. There is no other place that would do that. Eddie will have my and my families business for life. Thank you to you all.

I don't know how else to say it other than: I did not feel slimy after dealing with this mechanic shop. Came in to get my brakes fixed, and despite my amateur method of explaining the issue, they did their own due diligence, then took into account the oddity of temperature being a factor in my brake problem. Once identified, they fixed my baby up quickly, and I don't feel even an inkling of being overcharged or conned into a repair I didn't need. We will be back soon for another issue, and I have no problem thinking this will be my go-to shop for all future repairs and services.

I had taken my car here to check my brake peddle going all the way to the floor. Eddie was very professional and honest. The technicians looked at it and just adjusted the back drums I hope I'm saying it right. Bottom line up front Eddie didn't charge me while the dealership was going to charge me $200 just for the diagnostic. I will definitely go back to do my brakes. Thank you Eddie and his Team.

I came to Brake Works due to their online ratings. I had a flickering ABS light in a 2002 GMC Sierra. They assessed the possible cause as a spliced wire from a repair from before I bought the truck. They were both honest and professional. I will definitely be back for future brake work. This business still understands and places a high premium on customer service. I highly recommend this location for your brake repairs.

Originally went to Midas for front brake pad replacement. They told me I needed new rotors. I wanted to try this place out after reading all the great reviews. Eddie is as advertised. They resurfaced my rotors and charged way less than Midas. They also pointed out I had wheel locks in which I did not have keys for. It is so easy to trust these guys despite the auto repair industry being so shady.Service: Brakes

About 2 months ago, about 1200 miles back. I had a sound coming from my F/R. Brought it to BWs. They said, looks good for another 20-20,500 miles. My F/R is now grinding when I step on the break. Do the math! Beware of these guys. When I picked up my truck they didn't charge me and now Im kicking myself in the ass for tipping them $20 for their speedy service which didn't ever occurred on my vehicle. This is being written by a corporate jet technician. Thanks Brake Check!

Great service went in expecting a long wait, however quick and easy. Came in explained the issue I was having, took the car, drove it to test it, came back, took a look at the car and told me what I needed to get fixed and the price. Drove off and already felt the difference. Would definitely come back and recommend.
