We arrived to the store last minute with 20 minutes until closing and Haitham helped us through the entire process. Even though the store eventually closed, she was very patient and made sure our bear was perfect the way we wanted it before checking out. 10/10 will be back again!

Today was National Teddy Bear Day and the staff was absolutely amazing!! My daughters and I were second to last in line and they never stopped smiling and taking their time with the customers. Ricley/Rick was especially friendly, funny, and made our entire experience and wait worthwhile. We were pretty tired at that point and he really cheered my girls up making them smile and giggle (even my tween) really rounding out this whole fun experience of national teddy bear day! Thank you for doing this by the way. I just experienced a job loss but my girls were able to buy their own bears today which really made for a fun evening!

Usually I love coming to build a bear! The people are usually so friendly and give a great experience. Unfortunately today, the experience wasn’t so great. We came to get a few bears stuffed and the enthusiasm and excitement wasn’t there. The person stuffing our bears was Rey, she messed up the stitching on one bear which is understandable, nothing is always perfect, but she forgot to put a heart in one of the bears and didn’t offer to reopen it to put the heart in. The heart ceremony was not exciting and overall it simply felt like a transaction.

Emilio and Erica were amazing! They went above and beyond to try and help my wife and I. We had our own voice box and didn’t have the original video. My mother in law passed away a few years ago so this was very important to us to try and make happen. They were doing EVERYTHING they could! By the grace of God we found the original video and they recorded the message we wanted and got our bear. I cannot express what this meant to my wife. Thank you guys so much!

One employee turned my not so fun experience around today. My friend and I got a gentleman with facial hair who didn’t offer much or a ceremony, but afterwards I was helped by the sweetest person today! They had split dye hair and cute freckles. They helped me and my friend get our bears dressed and when we mentioned we wanted scents and a ceremony, they offered to help us! We each got a scent and they fixed up our friends. Props to you!

Erica from the Build-A-Bear Workshop at North Star Mall is amazing! She successfully rescued a recording of my mom's voice on a bear that my daughters made for me after my mom passed away over six years ago. Erica persevered and did her utmost to fix it, and in the end, she succeeded. Thank you, Erica! She permitted me to post her picture.

We had the most magical experience at the Build-A-Bear Workshop in North Star Mall! From the moment we walked in, the staff made my daughter feel incredibly special. She had an absolute blast designing her new stuffed animal from start to finish.
The employees were kind, patient, and so courteous—they walked her through every little detail, from picking out the plushie to choosing the perfect outfit, accessories, and even a tiara! Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they made sure she felt confident and excited about every decision.
It was more than just picking out a stuffed animal—it was a core memory in the making. The way they guided her through the whole process truly made her feel like a VIP, and she hasn’t stopped smiling since.
Thank you, Build-A-Bear team, for turning a simple outing into a truly unforgettable day for my daughter (and for me as a parent). We’ll definitely be back soon!

Got my daughter a hello kitty bear and had my voice recording put in it and when I got home I was not happy with the background noise so I took it back and they took care of me and re-record it for me again.. thank you so much for that..

I walked into the store to take my little sister for a first time bear & had no idea where to start. I'm so lucky one of the managers (Haithem) helped us & made the experience a lot easier for me & more fun for my sister! Thank you for a great first experience!
