Go to another location, we came here for my baby’s birthday there were 4 employees just standing chit chatting and didn’t even acknowledge me or my kid until I said EXCUSE ME like 3 times. Once the employee help us stuff our bear they didn’t offer to sing or to make a certificate we had to ask. We weren’t done shopping for the bears clothes when another one employee (CLARISSA) came and starting being rude to the other employee asking “did you verify it’s her birthday?” (Also not acknowledging us at all) then all the sudden she ask us with an attitude “are you ready to check out?” I just paid and we left. I felt second hand embarrassment for the other employee for being mistreated in front of the customers. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION. They lack enthusiasm mostly if they are working with kid. Completely ruined my kids build a bear experience.

Came here for my daughter’s birthday n I wished I didn’t. If you want the full build a bear experience, go somewhere else. First off , it’s not an actual store , more of a middle section in the middle of the mall hallway. Second, the lady that helped us was not enthusiastic at all , almost made us feel like a burden that we were there making her work. Third, the selection on build a bear outfits is limited compared to all other stores. Fourth, circling back to not getting the full experience, they didn’t even ask if we wanted to name our stuffed bear or give us a birth certificate (all other stores do this ), or the “bathing section “ was not available . The only reason I came to this one was because it was closest. I wished I had gone to Northstar instead. Although, it might be the corporation of build a build instead that made these changes . The experience didn’t not feel interactive or playful at all like it did once when I was little. I was really hoping to give the same experience to my daughter

We visited San Antonio after a drive from Brownsville to see the sites and do some touristy things. We saw this Build-A-Bear and decided to get my niece a bear. The employee there is Sergio. He was patient and attentive to us, and he provided an excellent overall experience. Thank you, Sergio.

Definitely had one of the best experiences at this location staff was great!! Especially Mackenzie, she helped my daughter and I make her first build a bear. She was extremely patient and answered any questions we had great customer service. We’ll definitely be returning!

Such a fun, memorable Valentine’s Day experience! The person who helped us build our bear (Sergio, I believe) was absolutely amazing! ☺️ Amazing customer service, very friendly and helpful. I didn’t realize until we arrived, it wasn’t a “store”, more so a “kiosk/stand” in the mall. But don’t be discouraged, the experience was fun & still so many options!! 5 stars especially for Sergio. ⭐️

If you want the best build a bear experience you can get - definitely come here. Aurora was absolutely amazing. She's extremely sweet and kind, and so good with children. I mean, damn, I'm not as good as she is. We will definitely come back. My children loved it. Highly recommend. Thank you very much, you're the best!

Just called and was able to put a kuromi on hold was so so so excited to hear that I'm autistic and my fixation is kuromi I was so sad to see them sold out online this made my day so much better

The worker was amazing! Like, really! They really got into the role and treated my daughter super duper special. If only I could see the world through her little eyes as they made magic come to life with her little reindeer bear! Thank you so much for getting into the gig and making it special for every little kid you see!!

These people were SO KIND to my anxious little girl. She had a Bear donated to her when her Dada died, and the bear needed a new heart, stuffing, and scent. They were very patient and gentle with my little girl to the point I had tears in my eyes when we left. God bless them.
